Been mixing my own for a few years now. Significantly cheaper than buying premade and I can add a little here and there if i'm having a down day.
200mg Caffeine
3g Beta Alinine
5g Creatine
2.5g BCAA, then 5g during workout
2.5g citruline malate
1 serving of taurine because I got a bag for free a while back

Wherever the gov't tells me.
PreJym from Jim Stoppani is my favorite right now.

Depending on my “cycle” I’ll go between that and black coffee with a pack of Animal Cuts and take the red pill. If I’m taking PreJym then I omit the red pill from the Cut pack in the morning, but will still take it in the afternoon.

I wake up at 0430 to hit the gym and slam a protein shake about 15 mins before hitting my pre workout. Post workout is a smoothie consisting of protein powder, oats, powder pb, a greens complex, and about 3g of creatine. Usually comes out to around 45g/45g protein/carbs. Seems to work for me.

1st Phorm Project-1 for me. It also contains 5g of creatine monohydrate and a BCAA blend.

I went years without using pre-workout supplements, and would just drink black coffee which I still do often.
That said, there is no arguing that your workouts hit another level with a good pre-workout. I do some brand support for 1st Phorm and they are really just a stand-up company, no hidden junk in their products and are one of the few supplement companies that have an FDA regulated facility. Awesome stuff!

That one is especially stupid. Retarded name and just a load of caffeine and yohimbe all for the great price of $45.
Yes I agree. I think after workout drinks are more important. Eddie Hall will start a workout with a banana and some cranberry juice. He also avoided coffee and alcohol apparently - his blood pressure was already a concern when he weighed over 400 lbs @ 6'-2.5". Coffee spikes blood pressure. I personally love coffee and will have one every other day but a Rooibos tea is so much more healthy. Interestingly Mike Tyson never drank coffee lol! He is a tea lover.

For most people coffee produces only a transient slight elevation in blood pressure that then decreases to baseline or slightly below for a period of time.

Coffee is healthy and will make you live longer and healthier aside from having the performance benefits. You're tea is not any healthier.

Eddie hall is obese, coffee is not his problem, especially when he was even more obese. Mike Tyson has the nutrition knowledge of drywall. I wouldn't use their anecdotal experiences to make any judgement on the effects of coffee.

Bingo! Ephedra, studied to actually be effective for weight loss and safe. Too bad that fat, sloppy, untrained pitcher had to OD on it coming into training camp and **** it up for everyone.

DMAA is dogshit and actually unsafe. Look up the pharmacology.

Cant do pre-workouts. The itching/tingling i get from it is extremely distracting.

I might be the minority here but I love it. One of the reasons I like mixing my own, just put a little extra beta-alinine on leg day.

Im with you, I love it when my eyebrows itch when I lift. I need to step my home gym game up, getting bored with just dumbbells and bands. May have to try one of these and kick my amateur grade C4 aside.

They're all CNS's and they all do the same thing and all of them will have to be cycled off from time to time as ur body adapts to it.

I usually go a couple months then take a week or two off. I have tried every single CNS out there and none works any better then the other. Its all advertising BS!

The best protein to get tho is Genepro. (1) tablespoon is worth (30) grams of protein. It can be mixed in anything and doesn't change the taste or the consistency. My cousin is a pro bodybuilder with his Pro card and exclusively uses Genepro as his protein supplement. Its the real deal!
