Rental last month. First time down the track with the P1X. Not a personal best but DA at or above 2500ft made it very difficult. Will be back. Hopefully 9.50s or 9.40s with better weather and better 60ft,

Very good passes this time of year. I don't even know how you can be out there in the middle of the day. I feel nearly heat exhausted working in the garage.

Has to be hotter than hell at the track this time of year. Congrats on the 9.7 @ 143 pass.

Yes miserable indeed. My car’s battery died at around 8:30 when they opened the gates and I had to push it to the parking area...around 2 blocks....at that point I was drenched and done with the damn day. Nearly 90* and index way over that.

Update: have a rental scheduled for Dec 13th. Hopefully weather is at least half decent and I get a personal best. Working on hopefully installing a transbrake and pulling driver/passenger seat in exchange for a fixed race seat just for the track day. Also found my alignment was way out of wack during the last rental and fixed it. Put a T-stat bypass on the 6r80 to keep fluid flowing to trans cooler which will let it run a little cooler. Also putting new plugs and replacing the 5 year old o2 sensors.

I like where this is going. I'd say 20s or 30s arent out of the question if it hooks on the brake :)

Going to have to tune for the transbrake or it will hit the limiter on the 1-2. Might take some track logs to dial it in before the rental.

I think I’d faint lol

we’ll surely try!

I think you will be shocked if she hooks as hard as it should on the brake with good air. Just read the potential 1-2 issues. You wont lose as much as you gain on the 60, but it will definitely be an issue. Didnt realize that was an issue.
