Got the heads/cam installed gotta say I’m pretty happy with the results mph is moving for no hi ram . Also this is a 6spd car with ported msd on e85 i expect the car to be in the 138-140 area when done and with better air .

A couple of my friends have 6th gen 1LE cars, a 17 and an 18. There was a 3rd but he sold it. My 19 GT PP1 M6 is kind of a benchmark for them lol. one is LTs, LT2 (now MSD) intake, full exhaust, rotofab and E85 ("427whp"). He has me covered by a few cars from a 40-140. Other is just LTs, he bought the car used and isnt sure if its tuned. General opinion is that I would **** him up pretty good. My car has JLT, Corsa catback and e85 tune. I ran the stock one before he sold it, when my car was just had a tune, I put about 3 cars on him pretty easily.

Which heads/cam did you go with? From what my friends tell me, the only heads available are ported stockers and "not worth it".

My car has a GPI SS4 cam , ported heads from a buddy , ported msd. And your friends don’t know much lt1 heads ported are worth about 30 hp . I haven’t got to run a M6 5.0 yet . The only ones I ran was the A10 . He was e85r tune from Lund , longtubes, Intake vs me being on just 93 tune, longtubes and dragpack i pulled him pretty easy .

Strong Camaro, sir! Yeah, it still would be interesting to get a real world comparison between the app and a run at the track. The question of reliability comes up occasionally and an actual controlled test might put that to bed.

It's not an app. It's a actual GPS based box that connects to any bluetooth device . I have compared 100s of Dragy runs vs track timing , it's super close .
here is one run from my brothers car last week . Same run Dragy vs track timing .

I don’t know why every person with a performance car doesn’t have a dragy. Lol. They really are awesome and super easy to use.

I'm curious what your r8 can do 60-130. I know its a beast from a dig.

The Draggy App is about dead nutz when u compare it to the track slip. Ur 60 ft won't be as good but pretty dam close. Ur mph is the same tho.

Its a nice tool, but its really not that close. 10.19 and 10.213 its a big difference.

Definitely the 60ft dont compare either.

Call me old school but the only thing that matters to me is what your time slip from the track says.
