We’ve lost a long time member/staff member and I have lost a good friend.



I got the call yesterday and I’m still trying to process it all.

LL was a great guy. He was a great friend to myself and several other members and staff members.

There are some who don’t see it that way but if you knew him personally you had no choice but to like him. He really would do anything he could to help anyone in need and if you had his friendship he would give you the shirt off his back.

He has been suffering with some serious health issues lately and it finally took its toll.


I just don’t have it in me right now to go any more into detail.

Please just keep his family and friends in your prayers.
I'm really gonna miss him.

When Barry called me yesterday I almost fell off my chair. We would talk at least once a week years ago, and I consider him a great friend. We all called each other brother.

It was a gut punch when I found out about LL. Like Barry said, he'd do anything to help a friend. I was hoping to get him in a couple month. I'm glad I've got something of his that's tied to him and SVTP, his old KB 2.3 from his red Lightning. I'm never selling that thing.

Oh wow, what a punch to the gut! I saw 'Larry' in the thread title and immediately got a sick feeling in my gut. This is news beyond sad. Larry and I talked occasionally on the phone but I hadn't talked to him in awhile. I knew that his health was not good, but just never expected to (nor wanted) to hear this news. I am praying for his family, and friends. He was one heck of a man, and YES, he'd help anyone anytime. He was tough when he needed to be, and kind/thoughtful always. We'll miss you, brother, but your memories will live on forever.

This news is such a stark reminder how short life really is.
