I've been happy with my base SVT wheels, but I was always annoyed that the rear wheels
were only 9.5 wide. So when @biminiLX asked if I wanted his Weldcraft widened wheels I was all in.

I decided to ditch my front 19s and run 20s all the way around, now here's something anyone else that wants to run OEM 20s up front will need to know, you'll need to run a 5mm spacer to clear the 6 piston Brembos. I also had them powder coated to the same as the track pack wheels, I couldn't be happier how they turned out.

Lookin good !
People who bought SS take-offs, ( Modulare ) had to run the same 5mm spacer on the fronts to clear the 6 piston brakes..

Such a great looking '14 GT-500! Those wheels look perfect, and the finish you chose screams "perfection".

Looks amazing buddy!
I’m amazed at the job your powder guy did!
I’m going to do my Welds in the same color, I’m done with polished.
Really looks perfect to me. I like the silver on the base wheels, but the SVTPP dark color looks MUCH better on Sterling Grey.
Glad they found a good home, I had a ton of time and money in those :)

Yup, when I was running the SS wheels I had to use a 3mm spacer and it was crazy close, a 5mm would have been better. Overall I'm happier with these wheels over the SS wheels.

Me too buddy, ever since the first time I saw your Shelby with these wheels I always wanted that setup. I couldn't be happier.

Really helps traction on 305-315 tires that actually fit without major headaches.
I felt like the combo 315/35/20 NT05R on the 20x11” wheel was perfect on the street up to around 800rwhp.
In reality, hooking that power from a second gear roll makes these cars a deadly roll contender.

Exactly. I'm only @675 RWHP and run a 315 888 on a 11.75 wheel. I have never experienced wheel spin. Just hook!

Oh Canada!
11 wide, it's nice that my NT05Rs fit correctly now lol.

What size tires are you running on those 20x11s?
I gotta say this is so full of win, I’m a huge fan of an OEM+ look which this gives, but with all the right specs (20x9.5, 20x11). Almost no one is running that OEM 20” wheel in the front, which is a shame since this is the nicest OEM wheel that came on the S197.

I'm currently running 315 NT05Rs, but I'm switching to 305 M/Ts next, the Nittos aren't holding anymore. I run the OEM 285s up front. I'm really happy with the look of my Shelby now.

Did you need a rear spacer?

I widened my 14 PP rear to 10.75" with a 305/35 and ended up running a 3mm spacer due to rub on inclines. I kept the 19s on the front but went to a wider tire to fill the rim and wheelwell properly.
