We've had jeeps in the family since '08. My daughter had a red '17 Sahara which she loved and drove everywhere - on road trips, off roads in the desert, and so on. Her jeep was totalled when someone ran a red light and hit her car hard enough to bend the frame all the way to the back doors. Fortunately the Jeep protected her and her passenger, and so the replacement choice was easy...

Great choice! I’m sure she’s loving it. Glad to here that although her last Jeep was totaled, she was was protected and okay.

Jeeps are a huge part of our Superchips brand. Here's what we have around the office in Sanford. There's also a 20 2.0T JL and another JK at our other office in Utah.

19 JL 2.0T, probably the first and only tuned 2.0T on the planet :)

I have the Superchips Flashcal for adjusting tire sizes...etc. It works flawlessly. I want to see some good numbers one what their tune does for the 2.0, then I may upgrade it to the full tuning device. If it competes with the JB4 as far as power is concerned, then it is a no brainer. JB4 has had a tuning package for about a year now, and there are quite a few 2.0's running them with great success.

Wow, I didn't know superchips was still around. I had one on my 1990 ranger with a ticking 2.9L.

Yup, still here and kicking!

I should have said first flash tuned 2.0T in the world ;)
Berger does good stuff with the JB4, but I'll always prefer a PCM flash option for full control whenever its an option.

When is the tuner going to be available for the 2.0T?
Seems everything takes forever these days as we have to verify emissions compliance, etc. Tunes are done and developed, lots of testing has been done. Let me see if I can find the video of it going up a local hill with the tune that it could barely get up stock.

Hoping for a release in the next month.

LS1 is almost ready to go in, just waiting for the harness and computer to get back from being converted to stand alone. Installed the Holley front accessory drive today. Gonna drop it in next week to test fit. Then I’ll pull it out and raptor line the engine bay.

Got some updates….I ****ed up huge in august and sold my gladiator rubicon. Multiple reasons, some out of my control. As soon as she was gone I felt sick to my stomach. I had just finished the build to. Ended up on a teraflex 3.5” lift / Clayton control arms with track bars and falcon sp3 shocks with 37s. Was basically fully built.

Fast forward to last week. I was back in a position to get back in a gladiator after missing mine 4 months

2021 Willys…it’s pretty base but it’s all I could afford right now. Rubicon’s are up in the $60k range

So far I added a Rubicon suspension, teraflex leveling kit and had the bed lined. I ordered all led lighting so hopefully that comes next week. I’m so happy to be back in an gladiator it’s insane. Not sure where this build will end up, just gonna go with it and see where I land.

As far as the Comanche, she’s at the body shop getting painted sarge green. The LS1 is in, I have everything needed to put her together. Just waiting on paint to get done.

NICE!! Never realized that the Comanche was a legacy truck, that makes it extra cool! Your grandfather must have taken really good care of it. Most vehicles from the 80's are completely used up by now....

What happened to the Rebel....?
The new Willy's looks sharp! I think the only thing the Rubicon comes with that isn't easily replaceable is the 4.10's.
