Thank you!

That’s an awesome pic btw. I can’t imagine going over a rock now let alone jumping after riding that thing yesterday. I have a ton of learning to do

Nothing replaces seat time. Most new guys sweat the jumps for the first year or so because you won’t be carrying much momentum through the corners so you have to be so hard on the throttle to “make” the jump and that makes the bike react less predictably then it would if you already had your momentum up, and possibly a gear higher then you think you need to be.

Even if you’re going to be more of a trail/off-road guy then a motocross track rat I would suggest studying form/technique of the motocross guys. It will serve well in all situations.

i lost about 40-50 pounds lol. needless to say I have all new springs ready to go in. Got a new headlight on her and front fender. Changed the oil (takes forever with 4 filters LOL). clutch has been bled. still gotta get used to the rekluse "auto". no shifting .....****in weird !
With the rekluse auto clutches you still shift normal. However, you don't have to modulate the clutch lever when taking off and it's nearly impossible to stall the bike. I have one on my KX and love it, only thing I don't like is if I change gears while coasting I have to blip the throttle for the clutch to engage, and you essentially have no engine braking with these clutches which takes getting used to.

Mine doesn’t have a rekcluse clutch and I am kind of happy about that. I want to be able to manipulate the clutch and learn the bike that way.

I only started using a Rekluse a few years ago. Makes a world of difference when you're my age. Before that, it was electric start. I won't own a bike without electric start now.

it's really really weird, since ive been using the lever for 20 years LOL. but i just bled the system and the lever feels WAY better. I might just use the lever.

I hear you on the E-start. Im never getting a kicker again LOL. the 450s can be a bitch to start sometimes when kicking.
