I'm thinking about buying one of these and trying it out. I've cobbled something like this together out of a 1/4 inch drive ratchet before, but I think having a proper tool may work a lot better (especially when working on stuff under the dash). Anyone have one of these in your tool box?

I had one similar to the pic, better than a 1/4” ratchet because they hold on to the driver bit but lets face it, if you’re working under the dash with almost anything, it not going to be easy. For the cost of them, I think it’s worth having in your tool box.

I have this one. Don't use it much but it's really handy in tight areas. I'd buy again if it walked away.

I have a small similar driver with only one Phillips and on flat bit and I used it a lot while doing the interior of my 68. I think it’s worth it and I wish I had a bunch of bits for mine. I will probably buy that one you linked because I have more to do or should I say re-do.

I have a cornwell one, don't pull it out of the tool box much anymore. I used it for removing the oil rails on the 6.0's.

LOL, this is a no-brainer. I must have 200 various bits, and I've always used a socket on a 1/4" drive ratchet to hold one of the bits. But I'm gonna buy one of these on next trip to HD!!!!!

I have a Blue Point set, the ratchet is even narrower than that picture. Saves pulling the dash on an F series to change the blend motor.

You get what you pay for but man that is pricey. May have to purchase this one.
Wera makes some baller drive bits and screw drivers. I didn't realize how bad craftsman screwdrivers were until I invested in Wera's laser tip screwdrivers. All these years I just accepted the fact that Phillips screwed stripped over time, apparently all screwdrivers aren't created equal because that problem stopped the moment I made the switch. The same time happened when I switched to Bondhus and Beta Allen wrenches at work and on the karts.

I have Wiha screwdrivers. Did not know about Wera at the time. Very impressive.

Wera makes great tools/bits. Used them very successfully for box builds in manufacturing.

I really like these, but Sears no longer sells them:

However, Lang must have made them. Compare the design/markings/packaging.
MADE IN USA too!
