Any dealers near Detroit that are known for volume sales and more willing to deal? Local dealers near North East Ohio are all "here's invoice."

Looking for a 2020 X ST.

By X I think you mean Explorer? I dont know if you have checked out Coughlin Ford down near Columbus:

Search Inventory

They seem fairly high volume. I found them while looking for leftover 2019 Super Duties. You could probably negotiate a few more K off.

Big 3 all restarted production. F-series truck production shouldnt be hampered by the Borg Warner factory tornado damage from last month. Apparently 2 weeks ago they started T- case production again while repairs to the building are finished.

BorgWarner 4x4 Parts Plant Reopens After Tornado Damage

Unless Ford plans on drastically reduced production numbers, hopefully this spurns some real incentives on the 2020 Super Duty. Finally.

Dang. I was getting used to being the only Tremor around here :D

I am working out something on a 2020 Raptor S/Crew 801A, with moonroof, nav, and the tailgate step. My offer was $1,000 under invoice with the only extra being tax and license. I am going in tomorrow to sign the paperwork. The dealer accepted the offer. I hope this pans out and it isn't some sort of bait and switch deal. They sent a photo of the odo. Less than 20 miles on it. I have been DDing the Mustang but I want something to tow with and better in the winter lol

That's a good deal on a Raptor @VRYALT3R3D.
What's the price if you don't mind me asking. As if I went new, it would have to be the 801 option.

Keep in mind I live in Canada.
MSRP: $84,149-CAD
Discounted Price: $74,868-CAD
Which is $54k USD

congrats, whered you find the invoice price?
The dealer shown me the actual Ford invoice.

Ive been working on a few dealers about a new 2 door Jeep Wrangler Willys with the 2.0 turbo.

Best ive been able to do is about 14% off msrp which ends up being around $36k before fees (tax/lic) on a $42k MSRP Jeep.

I really want to pull the trigger, but it seems i should be able to do better. Although everyone pays more in SoCal i suppose.

The current perks ("employee pricing" plus $1500 Memorial day rebate) expire on June 1 so i have a few days to decide.

Of course June 1 could come and a better factory rebate pops up.

14% seems pretty solid. I don't know if the 0% for 84 months played a factor but the first dealer I went to would only take $1200 off, and not a cent more. I asked for them to throw in a tonneau cover or a bed liner but they refused.

Fortunately, there are 2 Ford dealers in town and I got a much better deal.

Hmm. If you like the price, i would go for it. If you always wait for a better deal, you will never buy because you keep waiting for an additional incentive that may never come.

You can always ask if they can do the deal on the 30th and revise the deal on June 1st if the incentives are better. I highly doubt you will suddenly see it 3k cheaper.

You are exactly right.

These damn jeeps are a cult item in California (everywhere actually). Even in this damn pandemic, dealers are moving them and as such, prices on them are not very dynamic.

I should probably just get after it and make it happen.

Might want to try Idaho. Seems to be better pricing up there if you’re willing to travel.

Here's the invoice pricing. Holdback is 1769. Anything else on here I could use to get them down on price?
