Well there you go for anyone interested! I don’t know about Ford GT’s other than this generation is well loved. Thought some of you here may be interested in such a project.

What's the cost of gt40 kit car? This seems like it would be a good drive train/interior donor maybe.

If I owned or was still working at a body shop, absolutely yes. For a shop that is a time consuming but easy fix now days. As long as the frame rails bolt to the tub and can be replaced like I'm thinking then it would be fairly easy.

Not that I’m aware. I know that back in 2008 a guy I know smacked the clamshell on his yellow one and it was a total loss. It being 12 years later I’m sure it’s even worse.

Ford has actually done a good job keeping parts available. But, parts are expensive, and that also fuels the wrecked auction price (value of it parted out). With the car being worth likely in the upper $100's, there is room in there for a good quality fix. MANY GT's have found their way back onto the road, even after being "totaled".

Gas monkey rebuilt one that was wrecked. I would rebuild this one if I could. Shit if I had the money I would buy it and leave it wrecked until I could fix it. I love those cars.

That is a parts car, the hole front pass. corner is junk. If you watch the video I wonder why the gauges don't work.
Now what will happen is some hack YouTube channel will get a hold of it get a million hits and sell it to some pour sap who does not know any better...

Nothing you can't fix with some square tube, Styrofoam and a little Bondo.
