I find it amazing how the air filter went from yellow to black...... granted I do not know how many pulls were made but they may have changed it the black one looks bigger

He's actually getting ripped on pretty hard in the diesel performance community. I enjoy his recent videos, but he needs to stick to playing with diff covers and data monitors.

I dunno you watch the pulls it slowly goes reverse Michael Jackson.

right around 6:09 you see it changing color, but I think you're right there is a bigger one at the end. Yellow one still looks like it ate shit real fast. Skip from 6:09 to 11:17 definitely different.

LOL, your post shows you have no clue, and he most certainly does.

I have a slight clue. Recently made 1050hp/1900tq on a stock-appearing powerstroke setup, and enjoy the approach of the latest banks duramax project doing just that too. Have been making good clean power for years, without any inter-stage intercooling on a compound turbo setup. I don't directly disagree with any of Gale's points in the video, but it is a bit out of touch with real world application.

Gale *wasn't* commenting on a "real world application."

He was commenting on a motor that was going to be used in a high-stress top-speed run, as far as he knew.

Real world as in an engine just living in the dyno room vs an engine actually going in a vehicle. They tested it as it would be ran in the car from my understanding. Like I said, he wasn't factually incorrect, but my first post here was simply saying the majority of the diesel performance community is ripping on him over this video. There are millions of compound turbo trucks out there with just a single charge air cooler, and no intercooling between stages, the 2008-2010 6.4 Powerstroke.

Then you should be thinking that maybe he saved a couple guys from having their shit burned down by shops with no clue. Because a shop that dynoes shit by eye with no datalogs will surely burn your shit down.
