I finally sold my SPY calls. Picked up a few more puts to hedge as well. The puts I had last week expired worthless obviously. I'm up about 200% this week when you account for losses in other areas (like those puts) but now I ONLY hold puts which may not be a good idea. If we get a pullback I'll load up on some more SPY calls. 287 is the next historical resistance but I wouldn't be surprised if it struggles right here at 280. I don't think I'm gonna play oil any more until seeing the real effects of the slump in demand. They aren't cutting enough to do anything to prices.

Thought this was funny. Didn't post, but I picked up 200 shares of SONN last week, it looked like it might have a good squeeze in her. I wasn't able to be at the computer today, so I sold AH yesterday at $6.19 thinking that was a nice bump...I was wrong lol

I went in on my robinhood account yesterday on the dip and bought some slightly out of the money SPY calls that expire on 4/15. Closed them out this morning for a 267% return and made up for all my losses on my puts (which I still hold) and then some. Not too bad for less than 24 hours. I still think we may see a correction soon and I'll be looking for a blow off top this week if it comes.

NVIV - Took a position at 1.64 for a gap fill continuation play. Last offering was in March, so I feel okay holding this overnight. Looking for some type of COVID-19 update.

Current stop is 1.45. If this trades above 2.10 again, my new stop will be 1.90

I also took some TSLA 700 puts at $750 this morning.

Tempted to dump my NETLFIX, but thinking they are still going to keep climbing.

I have the same problem. I still have shares at $115 from years ago with orders to sell near $500, but I may have to exit with current market conditions. I wanted to just sit on this for 10+ years, but now might be a good time to take some profits.

I actually went right back to the casino after I closed my calls. Bought some QQQ puts, fairly long dated. Sold them this morning on the dip for about a 30% return. Then I thought...what are the chances I timed the top perfectly? Probably zero. So I bought some more SPY calls. I'm down about 2% on them right now and will close them out for whatever loss if we don't get a pump this afternoon. Then I probably won't enter another trade until I see what the end of the week brings

EDIT: holy crap i timed all 3 of these trades perfectly. i'm juiced

I'll at least give myself credit for being cautious for this very reason, but damn haha. It's not too bad though, lets see if we get some news tomorrow. At least my TSLA puts should be up 200%+

NVIV - Stopped out. Pretty much did the exact opposite of what I wanted. That one couldn't have gone worse lmao.
TSLA - Stopped out of puts for 18%~
WTRH - I am building a swing position into earnings next month, starting with 1.10. My stop will be .87 area. I might go heavier on this one, I like the setup...55%+ short float, booming sector, lockdowns will continue to be extended and food delivery will continue to grow. With some news/momo this can really squeeze. I'm only going to risk about .20-.30 on this trade, but the idea is for a squeeze past $5.

Also, everything I post is my opinion and certainly not advice. I don't risk more than 1%-2% capital on any one trade, unless the R/R and my conviction can convince me to go bigger, which is rare. I learned the expensive way.

i ended up taking on another trade last night. CMCSA calls. closed out this morning for 13% gain. right after that, opened a fairly tight strangle on SPY and bought puts on QQQ. with SPY not opening above 287 and both QQQ and SPY printing a daily 9 on the TD Sequential, we could see a large drop next week. but then again, the fed keeps printing so who knows

Small caps are flying right now. TRNX, AKRX, RTW

If you like gambling, these are fun. I wouldn't trade those tickers anymore, but keep an eye on small caps in general. Lots of people at home with nothing to do but play investor on robin-hood.

So up until last week stocks have been boring to me but for some reason this thread has been riviting to read (and I've only read 122 pages)! It's been interesting to look up stocks that have been discussed on here and see where they are now compared to when they were sold. Thank you guys for the excellent read!

With that being said I'm looking into investing some stock now that the market is in a bit of an upswing. Whether that is smart or not only time will tell.
