The kid posted up that anticipated dyno session video which took place in Dallas TX area, elevation friendly vs Las Vegas. Must say the car could be for sure under rated and more in line with that earlier FP techs statement of 850HP.

I wonder how much driveline loss with the DCT?
Such a bad ass car. That thing really moves out in DRAG mode. I've never tried the DRAG mode in my car yet. The SPORT+ mode is vicious though.

I am curious as well to know the actual % loss through that dct is. Wonder if it is similar to any other dct out there.

When I said it would make 700whp people laughed. Now I get to laugh at them. Haha

" STD " corrections, SAE J607, used by some shops because it produces higher #'s.
.
"......STD, or standard correction, represents one of the oldest correction factors used by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). STD is also known as J607 and it uses standard conditions of 60-degrees F, 29.92inHg and 0-percent humidity.
.
Ford & other Mfg. use SAE J1349 corrections when advertising hp & tq. #'s.
Also, what gear was the car in to produce the " desired " 1 to 1 " drive ratio ??

Shit is Dope! Cant wait for ppl to start modifying them! 1000 whp won't be hard at all with E85 and a blower swap.

Since STD numbers don't matter. It made 686rwhp SAE. At least it was on a Dynojet and not a Mustang Dyno. Still a beautiful car.

Clearly 4th gear.

You are correct that it was corrected with sae j607. The difference is saej349 is 77° iirc.

Do you want to also speculate or inform the audience of why the computer likely richened out the car to 10/1 af ratio? No?

They didn’t set up an air blower in front of the car. That motor will eat air at a very high level when attempting to travel 140+ mph in 4th gear wot. Guaranteed that if the computer could read higher o2 count it would have been a better ratio.

Ford isn’t going to set the car for 10.0 at wot with optimal o2 readings.

It probably can put down 720whp with a 10.6 to 10.75 a/f ratio.

They should redo the pulls with 2-3 air blowers from Home Depot pointed at the grill.

My turbo cobra doesn’t like dyno pulls without the air assistors to the tune of 40-50 whp.

A car at speed in real life can suck in all the air it needs.

Crazy how rich the oem tune really is, hell just getting some of those things adjusted the car could easily pick up decent hp without changing anything.

It's just a chassis dyno everyone. Great tool for measuring changes, but completely useless in correlating true engine output. Let's not get into a war over whether or not the engine in under/over rated.

Sounds great.

Because Dyno numbers won’t accurately represent a car’s performance out on the real world. Dyno numbers are easily manipulated and are used to trick sheeple into believing the author’s narrative. Even when not manipulated results will vary without changes.

Are you trying to antagonize in every thread about this car?

Given the fact that Ford has all but abandoned passenger cars, I'm just glad that this version of the Mustang ever happened at all. I can't wait to experience it having had a GT350 and a Whippled GT500 before it.
