I need some help. I’ve searched for hours and I can’t find the answer. Maybe u guys can help. I’m buying another 98 cobra. This one has a Kenny Bell supercharger. It’s been on the car for years. The previous owner don’t know if it’s a 1.5l or 2.1l. How can I identify between the two. Any help would b greatly appreciate!!!

I have a 2.1 on my 97 cobra, I don't have any experience with the 1.5 but I believe there are some obvious visual differences between the two. Post up a pic of your supercharger and I bet someone will be able to tell you.

could u give me a few details on yours? Like do u have a stock engine? How do u like it, what kinda power it makes? Stuff like that.
I have the factory motor in the car now but I did switch it over to run on E85. I am happy with the performance of the 2.1 for what it is. Making just under 500whp currently.
cool. I have a 98 cobra but I’m looking at another cobra that has a Kenny Bell on it. He has a Dyno sheet and it made 335hp. But that was back in 05. If I like the car I would like to get it Dyno tuned again. Maybe do a few more things to it.
Doesn't look like my 2.1 at all, I am guessing 1.5 or 1.7 but I don't know for sure how to tell them apart. Hopefully someone knowledgeable on the difference can chime in.
