Just face it,.........the Demon is stupid fast! I think it's faster than any new car for around 100K, correct??
Especially in the quarter mile. Pure muscle car.
Yes the car without the crate parts is fast. The car with the crate parts is even faster. But they are different.

I have no doubt that the car was designed with these parts in mind. But as you said they can't legally sell the car in that form and get certified as street legal(Safety, emissions etc...) they sell the parts that you ADD after you get the car. This is the issue. Can you take the car and get it certified with the parts on it? Dodge even states these are aftermarket so they don't get sued. These parts are for track only and are not DOT approved. I understand that Dodge did a work around and got these to market. I'm impressed with the times these car run. The issue is people don't take what left the showroom floor and talk about those times. It always discussed about the elapsed times AFTER you add the CRATE PARTS. This doesn't have to do with me being brand loyal, or a hater, or jealous it just doesn't pass the sniff test.

And to discuss warranty you can go get a recommended blower installed at any Ford dealer and it comes with a warranty including drive-train. Would you says that stock? of course not.
I get it, in a court of law you guys would win the battle while high fiving green peace and the EPA. But still, nothing will change the fact that Demon owners bought a car and a crate all on the exact same reciept. How many others can say that? Literally none.

You can lay the windshield flat on a Jeep but it’s not legal to drive it on the road that way.

By your rationale, it must be aftermarket.

I guess the side mirrors are also.

That’s your response?! Lol

You’re as confused as a cow on astroturf.
Ok Einstein! Explain why you think think my points are wrong?

Explain to me then why did the crate come with a jack and stands etc... It was meant for the parts to be installed at the track.
Does the ECM and 100 gas meet emissions? I think not and that is why it had to come in a box and installed after the car is sold and is listed as aftermarket in the documentation. Dodge couldn't sell the car with them installed and included it as a aftermarket accessory that gets installed for the track. Not 'street legal'.

I get it, people install parts that aren't 'street legal' all the time, but can't call it stock afterwards.

Don't be a simpleton and back up what you say

Generally, you can ask a few simple (pun intended) questions to determine factory/OEM vs. aftermarket parts:

1. Is the part made by the same manufacturer (or a subsidiary)?
2. Is it included in the purchase price of the new vehicle?
3. Is the part available at any dealership?
4. Does the vehicle's factory warranty remain intact at all dealerships?

You're arguing about emissions and street legality. Is a brand new ATV aftermarket because it's not street legal? (now you see how dumb that sounds to the rest of us)

Oh Im sure they understand, its just the age old "not my brand so must be wrong attitude." Because it really is as simple as 2+2.

1. OP most definitely was not “stock”. You were in non OEM provided rubber.

2. Everyone claiming that the Demons that use the OEM supplied crate, backed by a FULL factory warranty and purchased for $1 dollar at the time of sale, are lashing out crying because Ford lost the battle.

Dodge beat and continues to beat Ford and it ****ing hurts.

It hurts these guys deeply. In their core, more than when their step daddies used their weak little bodies as meat puppets.

It saddens me too, to see “car guys”, resort to such a bullshit argument. It’s weak, so weak. They hate it so much, so much more than step daddy salami all up in their coolaid, that their brand didn’t win. No matter how much they sit there and smile and pretend to give props, it hurts them DEEP.

I wish you all the best.

God speed.

Thanks for answering any of my questions
I will answer yours

1.Not sure why this makes any determination. All manufacturers have an aftermarket division that sell and install parts that retains drive-line warranty.
2.Yes it's included but not installed. I see you ignore this.
3.Not sure why you think just because it exclusive that this helps your case. Yes it's included in a package, this has never been disputed. It being installed as stock is the issue.
4.Note 1. Again remind me how does this determine if it stock or not?

"Is a brand new ATV aftermarket because it's not street legal?" Just because it's not street legal doesn't make it aftermarket. It's not street legal because it doesn't meet the safety/emissions requirements to be on the street. I don't make the rules and am not trying to twist them to make something fit. Aftermarket is just that its sold and installed after the sale of the vehicle. Dodge even says it's aftermarket.

Facts are Facts

Dodge says it's aftermarket
Parts ain't installed until after the car is sold.
Parts aren't street legal

Dodge did this so they can sell the car with a VIN and get these performance/track parts to the customer. This is a brilliant idea and out of the box thinking. I tip my hat but that still doesn't change one is the showroom stock car w/o the crate parts and one is a non-stock car with the crate parts that runs at the track.

I'm from the camp that show room stock includes tires and all. Drive it off the showroom, fill it up and run it. Once you start changing things all bets are off.

Last thing ill say about this dead horse is, you are too hung up on technicalities when you arent just taking the car for what it is.
