That RF Terminator is the nicest diecast custom I've seen. That young kid knew what he wanted and you came through with aces! Well done Glenn!!!

The 10th Anniversary diecast is going to look sweet, too.

Thank you Bob! Really appreciate your comments sir! Yeah, that kids Dad is an avid collector of diecast Cobras (I posted pics of his collection below). I have created one of almost every factory color for him. So, his son probably seen his dad's collection and then made his choices on color and wheels. I have to agree, RF is not one of my favorite colors, but that diecast car came out really nice.

Thank you again kind sir!

Now this is how the man's nightstand "SHOULD" look. Complete with wedding photo "BEHIND" the Cobras (Got to keep the misses happy) LMAO...…..

Glenn, how do we reach you or could you email me with prices? I have cars I can send you to be customized or do you have stock ones?

Okay,

Some of you may remember I gave a sneak peek of this project around 2 months ago. Well, I got this project completed over the 3 day weekend as well. My brother started his hobby of hydro-dipping. So, I got a snake skin pattern and tried it out. I know this will not be everyone's cup of tea, but, for a diecast, I think it came out bad@$$!!!!

Here is the 10th Anniversary Vert.

This car was sent to me by the owner. It's a factory SM, so no need to paint.

Here is the list of modifications:

  • 10th Anniversary replica wheels
  • Terminator H/E stencil
  • Gloss Black bumper letters
  • Red shifter ball
  • Supercharger black
  • Red valve covers
  • Cobra in grill
  • Red interior (10th Anniversary)
  • Personalized plate
  • Lowered

Okay,

Got the MC Ford GT polished while sitting in front of the TV last night. Going to start reassembly this weekend.

Here you can see the reflection of the light looks hazy from the orange peel.

Here you can see how clear the reflection of the light looks.

I was sitting back in my chair and noticed this. You can see the body looks purple, but the doors look blue. Also, if you look closely and the bottom rear of the body it looks like you can see a hint of green. Love the way MC looks. Really causes the diecast to pop.

Okay all,

Had some work being done to my house this weekend, but got some work done on the Ford GT.

Oh and on another note (i.e. Rant LOL). I do not understand people some times. I have folks contact me and ask about a build for them. We go back and forth with PM or emails. Every question they have I answer and they immediately respond to my questions. Then after everything is understood between them and myself, I give them a quote. As soon as they receive the quote I do NOT hear back from them (obviously this is not everyone as some say let's proceed).

I don't get it. I mean did they drop dead from a heart attack after seeing the price? LMAO!!! Anyway, I think it would be cool if the person would contact me one last time and say thank you, but no thank you. Is it that hard? They took the time to ask all kinds of question, why not end with a no thank you, that's too much or I don't think it's worth that much? But to just not respond seems rude to me.

Anyway, I just wish people would take the time to say they don't want to pull the trigger after taking the time to contact me in the first place.

Lastly, for people reading this and are contemplating contacting me for a build, please know there is a lot of time invested, quality materials used and the cars themselves are not cheap to start with. Also, color, options and other factors (i.e. you send me your car or I provide one) influence the price greatly. So, if you're looking for a build please understand it is not cheap. I'm saying this in the hopes of sparing people "sticker shock" once they receive a quote from me.

Please know that I will be happy to build a car for anyone. All I'm asking is if you do not wish to proceed with a build after contacting me please let me know. Thank you.

Okay here are the pictures of the Ford GT. I got the body together, but still need to paint the marker lights before I can do the final assembly. Then once final assembly is complete I'll have to give it a final polish to remove all the dust and fingerprints.

I’m sorry you are dealing with people who don’t take the time to at least reply and say that’s out of my price range.

I will say I love my car you did for me, and in my opinion you get what you pay for. The quality and attention to detail is amazing! Plus build progress updates are something I really enjoyed. Maybe I should just buy another color cobra to be able to justify buying another!

To those on the fence about buying one, you should do it. You will really appreciate the workmanship.

Good Fast and Cheap....You can only have two out of the three.

Thank you Dan! Really appreciate the support. 99% of the folks here have been really good on all counts and I have been lucky to deal with many great people.

I just noticed the communication drop offs have been happening a little more lately. I have no problems if someone is not interested for whatever reason. I'm just asking for people to let me know how they feel in the end since they took the time to contact me.

As always thank you to all of you who have supported me and continue to support me in this hobby. I'm trying to expand into the Ford GT market, but have not had much luck. I even tried to join the Ford GT forum, but since I do not own a Ford GT I don't think they want to let me in. My account has been in the "Your account is currently awaiting approval by an administrator. You will receive an email when a decision has been taken." status since November 12th LOL.
