Today was one of those days where you wonder why you don't leave things alone. It started off ok with finding out I fixed my gas leak. But then I think I discovered my wideband is finally going out. Tried doing some logging and it was showing A/F close to 12. Added some fuel and car is starting to sputter under boost. A/F is now showing as 11.9. Uhhh….I know I added more fuel than that. Add a little more. This time I notice black smoke behind me. Nope, not lean. Stupid rich. Plugged my Aeroforce back in and it shows 10.5 under WOT. Oops. Pull some fuel out and I see 11.8 on the Aeroforce. Ok. Do another hit and it shows 10.5 again. At that point I parked it and closed the garage. For those wondering, I'm seeing about 17-18psi on the boost gauge and the plugs are gapped at .028".
Have you replaced the oxygen sensor? Hopefully doing that will fix it.

I think I found a couple of issues. Possibly equipment, but also tune related. I ended up ordering the MS3 from Malcolm and new widebands for it. The more I get into it the more I'm disliking the band aid approach. I know people can tune my set up and get it to work, but I want some safety as well.

I took her out of the garage. Installed a maximum motorsports clutch height adjuster and put a new accelerator pedal pin in. Then I took the wife for a ride to the polish deli with some nice wot hear and there.
That's a great picture.

Like a fine wine, the more time goes by the better these cars get.

would the 3.5 upper you have work on a K.B. BLOWER
KB and Whipple pullies are different. Whipple uses 4 bolts to hold it on. KB uses one.

Went to a car show tonight and took first place in my class. And holy crap does my tune still need work.

Just got an e85 pump 2 blocks from my house instead of 25 miles like I had before. I fueled up the car and went on a long drive to pick up parts for the head swap. It's been sitting long enough it had a vibration for the first few miles (flat spots on tires?). Almost broke 14k miles.

Livernois stage 3 heads show up Monday.

It's crazy because the big city in Kansas is wichita and it only had about half a dozen e85 pumps but recently several have closed down. Then all of a sudden 4 e85 pumps popped up in my area. 1 next to my house then 1 in each of the small towns around me.

Washed and drove her to a storage unit for the winter, probably gonna stay until April. First time storing a car anywhere but my own garage, gonna see how it goes. Time to call Geico and tell them shes put away for a while, sad day.

We just got our first frost last week, only lived in NE Ohio for a year now but I already know its a crap shoot as far as weather is concerned. This time last year it was consistently under 50, went for a drive in the low 40's and the R888's were squirrely on me and thats when I put her away until May.

Im on borrowed time come October, once the salt hits the ground shes gonna stay parked until a few good spring showers pass through. Should have put her up sooner, just been busy.

Just wiped the car down today, it’s crazy guys are putting their cars away and it just now nice to drive where I am at. It’s been crazy hot this year.

That photo makes me miss my own DSG Cobra. Good looking, and I like the black wheels. Great that you get to drive yours pretty much year round. My G-70 car cover shows up next week and then in late November it hibernates until late March, early April.

I know the feeling. Cobra is put away and now I'm working on getting the 90 coupe put away. We have a forecast of highs in the low 40's by the end of next week.
