I've seen many people post about electronics so I'm assuming there is some knowledge of the subject on this board. I don't really need a new TV, but oh my have the prices gotten attractive in the 70"+ range.
Best Buy has several 70" in the $700 range and 75" around $900. But they also have TVs, in the same size, from the same manufacturer, that are easily more than double the price. I am failing to understand what is different about the technology. They are all advertised as 4K UHD smart whatevers.
I stream most of my stuff. The smart TV features and super ultra high definition stuff is probably overkill for me. I just want a badass big TV I can count on for the next 7-8 years.
I understand you get what you pay for but I am seeking value as well. To make it worse, not many places have the 70"+ TVs on display. Atleast not more than a few.
