also honored to say I had the pleasure of being visited at the shop by the infamous @biminiLX today. Bout fainted.
I signed your forehead before you came around.
I have nothing but great things to say about this build.
That Supra, notch and shop are all baller status.
Might bring more horsepower next time we meet too buddy :)
Also, I did touch the motor, so it will make at least 50hp more.
Next time I’ll host.

Just came across this and all I can say is wow! Gives me some serious inspiration for my 03 Mineral Grey Cobra I bought a few months ago. The title of this thread is actually what I had put on my tag LOL. Hope I can make my car half the caliber this one is.

Looking forward to it!
Taking it to Mod Nats in November in Georgia, so I’ll take it to test locally before with new exhaust, 2-step and WOT box.
Great meeting you too man.

Been a minute. We’ve been running into some time consuming modifications as with all builds from scratch. In the meantime I picked up the brakes from Powdercoat. Had the calipers done in the wrinkle blue from the valve covers and the brackets done in the gloss midnight blue that the sway bars, panhard rod and fuel rails were coated in. Should tie everything together nicely.

Curious, why not upgrade to a 4 or 6 piston big brake kit? A car if this caliber, both build and power wise, deserves the very best

*looks at receipts totaling over $40k in the last 90 days....then looks at bank account and shakes head*

Easy answer. Fear of bankruptcy

The next owner is welcome to though :)

I get it bro, and figured that may be the case. Still an unbelievable build regardless

In all seriousness, you have no idea how difficult it is to draw that line in the sand. Brakes would have been the cheapest of the ideas that I’ve had. I really appreciate the kind words and encouragement. I firmly believe the final product will impress....even if there is room for growth with some components

I have done a few resto cars and believe me that line is the hardest part.
Two things I try to remember..
I will not have the best cool car crown, someone is always going to put more money or have an idea that was better than mine.

No matter how well you build it, how much you spend, or how long it takes to build, you will never please everyone and someone can "do it better" no matter what!!

You built it, you had the vision and you finished it. That's what is important.
