Thanks, I did that last night soon as I got home. Moved 4 to 6 and reset it. So far it has not come back. Topped off coolant this morning and will keep an eye on that.

**Just ordered the kit, thanks again. **

look down in there. sometimes a head gasket will leak coolant visible in the cylinder. Oil would look "milky". Exhaust might burn white smoke and smell sweet. Not a good sign the tank was empty. Sometimes the pressure builds up, and then the coolant will blow out of the tank.

Good luck. My 7500 mile 19 Jeep Cherokee with the 2.0 Turbo died at 70 MPH taking the steering and brakes with it and leaving me stranded 7 miles from the nearest town and would not restart. Had it towed to Jeep dealer, they replaced the start/stop relay which was blown with no change. Dealer told me that there were multiple codes stored and they got FCA involved classifying it a star case on day 2 because they had no clue what was going on. Dealer then changed the fuel pump relay (bad) and fuel pump, still a no start. I am now on day 8 of this saga with no end in sight.

sorry I am late to this discussion but had the same code on my 2012 Jeep earlier this year. there is a recall on the left head assembly for the coolant passage that causes a cylinder misfire code. Mine is out of warranty (86,000 miles & 7 years old) but it was covered. Do a search & the recall will come up. The dealership tried to say the code was cleared & to come back if the code reappeared. I called Chrysler & the customer service was great & called the dealership to replace it anyways. (Also there is a recall for the airbag clock spring if your airbag light comes on) Good luck & do not ignore it! Took the dealership a day to do the work

Thanks man, will do if it comes back. I like to fix what I can that's simple and within my grasp but if it's under warranty use it.

Update...
So the Code P0304 did indeed come back even after swapping Coils. So the coil is good, I pulled the spark plug and will post that picture. I don't think they look that bad so honestly I'm going with gas. The coolant level has maintained the same level with no overheating. I noticed when pulling the plug the two silver tubes going down the passenger side just above the plugs were very hot, especially for being parked for two hours with the hood up. I wouldn't think anything would be able to burn you after two hours. Also tonight I did throw some Lucas in the tank with some Premium just in case it was bad gas from that gas station she had never been to. I replaced the #4 spark plug and will replace them all time permitting. It is a PAIN to replace spark plugs on a Jeep...WTH.

you have big issues my man. Take it in . lots of burnt oil on that plug, could be valve, or other issue. I am still betting that the head is bad....

Head Tester came in, I tested the coolant tank because I notices videos of people testing both the tank as well as the radiator. No signs of exhaust gas in the coolant. The oil is also normal so none there or signs of coolant in exhaust. Code has not come back since the gas treatment and Premium fuel. Really hoping that is all it was.
