I have the same problem but have never caught the person/dog in the act. Judging from the fecal differences it's from several different dogs. I just pick it up with a trowel and chuck it in the street. Then people run over it with bikes and car tires and strollers and step in it and then become very irritated at dog owners in the neighborhood.

We had a distant neighbors dog shitting in our yard last summer...

I started yelling at it and calling it names every time I saw it.

It stopped randomly last summer and hasn’t returned since.

If the culprit in your situation has thicker skin, I suggest molesting it.

(Owner or dog you ask, why not both?)

I had a neighbor that had a bulldog that kept getting out mysteriously at the same time every morning and would come crap in my yard. I have cameras as well and every time I saw that dog crapping in my yard I marched my big ass up the street and knocked on his door and confronted him about it. He always said the dog was getting out of his fence which I think was BS.

As the title states, I keep seeing on my security camera the neighbor is walking his dog (lab) into my front yard to take a dump, to be fair its not always mine, but he walks through my yard and several of the other neighbors yards and his dog usually picks mine to do his business.

I'm a big dog person but my kid plays in the front yard and I hate having to keep an eye out for these massive piles of smelly dog crap in my yard. I take my dog out back in the woods to do her business but it drives her crazy when we walk out and she is smelling this other dog all over the yard.

I'm not typically a confrontational person over petty stuff, and I don't want to start issues in the neighborhood that's gonna result in vandalism or something else.

Suggestions? I've added a few in a poll to choose from or make your own.

I wouldn't take my suggestion though I'll toss it out there but I had a similar situation and here's how I handled it: A family lived five houses or so away and the midget wife (under 5ft is what I consider a midget) would walk the dog down the street to the woods which is a house away and sometimes the sonofabitch (woman) would allow the dog to smash in my yard. One day I caught her and I was very polite yet highly condescending and asked her what was going on? She looked at me as if I was being unreasonable because apparently crap in the yard was not a big deal to her. I asked if she was going to pick it up to which she replied something about not having a bag or gloves or what have you to put it in. The female was giving me attitude and that's generally not a good idea. I proceeded to advise her to walk home and get the proper equipment and if she didn't, the crap would be on her door handle AND if her hubby had an issue, come up and talk to me. Rest assured there hasn't been crap in my yard since. I'm reasonable but if you want to be snide and act as if fido has carte blanche to dump in other yards and then act all weird when confronted, my dick head card comes out.

Best wishes though with your crap problem!

I had a neighbor who has a little chihuahua. The lady would let the dog shit in my yard daily. I saved up the dog crap from my two pit bulls for a week (almost a full brown grocery bag full). Dumped it on her driveway.

I can’t stand people that do this. I would say something, catch them in the act and ask if they need a bag to pick it up. People are inconsiderate nowadays. I caught a neighbor cutting limbs off our our trees recently. She got real nasty with me, I just asked how would she feel if I went over to her house and started cutting her trees up. Good luck OP, I hope the guy acts right.
If the limbs were over your property line than shame on you for not upkeeing.

Around here, people carry around plastic bags and pick up their dog's shit after it poops on someone's lawn.
Personally, I think that's ****ing disrespectful to let your dog shit on someone's property, but that's just me. ALMOST EVERYONE around here has a yard too. Let your dog do his/her business in your own yard, then take them out for a walk.
It's not the dog's fault, it's the owners that are being irresponsible. That's my opinion.

*****For the record, I am a HUGE dog lover. I think most dogs are better than most humans.

OP

Talk to whomever the owner is. Be a man about it. Say whatever it is you gotta say with ya chest, fam.

If you wanna take it to the next level, file a restraining order.

Missed "Kill myself because a dog has more purpose than I do" but that would be my choice

I don't know how it is in your city but that's illegal in Denver.

We have cameras on our sidewalks. We had issues for a few months with people not picking up after their dogs. We started publicly shaming people on Nextdoor (video clips) and posting photos of the offending people's faces glued to stakes set next to the turds. That crap stopped pretty quickly.

A few people came back a day or two later to pick up their crap.

Just capture a recent recording, walk over to his house and let him know you've caught him a few times letting his dog take a dump in your yard. If he denies it, show him the clip and mention you're not the only one with a camera (even if you really are). Obviously be civil about it and hopefully things turn for the better.

Hey Tones, I try to not let my dog shit on another man’s lawn, but I do not have control when my guy decides to take a dump. He is not regular. He really does shit whenever. I do pick it up thought.

Call the police and tell them your neighbor is off his meds and wandering around with an AR-15. Problem solved.
