Really? Not here.

A 2003 Terminator with 20k will bring $24-26k and a comparable Z06 will bring $20k.
To be fair the prices are all over the map but yea c5 z06 has been a strong reseller up here while the cobras are not so much. Finding a buyer for a terminator is the worst experience as it attracts kids where the z06's get a swarm of old men wearing jorts

Around the Houston area they both seem to sell at very similar comps...my buddy recently sold his 30K mile Torch C5Z for 23-24K, full bolton, cam car. I am speaking to clean lower mile examples.

Ford kinda sucks now..

I have an idea; revise the panther platform with at least 320 horses...
When my Ford lease ended, I chose not to go with the Edge ST because, well, it was boring. Not a true Ford Performance ST! So I decided I wanted a car, but not a Mustang. I wanted a performance sedan. Crickets! Ford no longer offers those. So, I jumped ship and bought a Genesis G70 3.3T Sport. And I'm happy! But it's really sad that Ford has abandoned it's car offerings and it doing no marketing to excite the masses. Maybe that's because there really isn't much to be excited ABOUT.

I'll still buy Ford trucks but I've moved on to Mopar and Chevy performance

Update

I further my statements. Cleaned the truck out last night to take it to the dealership for the motor. Picked up the weather tech mat and found white mold/passenger floor board is absolutely drenched. Looks like my truck has the AC drain issue, which I have seen is a 50/50 shot of need the HVAC box removed. So that means it needs a motor, so cab removal. And it now potentially needs the dash removed/interior removed to replace the carpet. Great.

We are taking the truck to Honda tonight and trading it in. Get the wife a new city car (civic or fit sport or something)

Never again Ford, never again.

So you are trading in a truck with a known leaking engine and mold issue due to an AC issue?

Doesn't leak. Eats oil.

that's a known issue that some motors had which was a head problem caused by a casting issue that made it through QA. (if I'm thinking of the same thing) this issue was a problem with several different engines that I think came from the same or similar plants.

the coyote is a proven engine. you can't expect perfection, all you can do is expect the manufacturer to make it right. my truck hasn't had a single mechanical issue in its 52K miles and is an absolute beast.

I was taking the truck to have the motor replaced starting tomorrow. When I found the mold/wet carpet/HVAC issue, that pretty much ended my relationship with them. I can deal with the engine, but now the interior gets to come out and lets be realistic. It'll be rattle city and I'll be dealing with this truck at the dealership for months on end.

Couple that with my 2016 GT having horrible paint quality. It was so thin you could see through it to the primer/e-coat, I'm done with Ford. Sticking with Toyota, Honda, or Subaru.

I have had paint issues with my truck. seems like the paint they use these days chips a lot easier than the old stuff.
you definitely won't find better paint with the other guys, though :(

I keep 100 ceremonial shares I bought at $2.14. Wouldn't touch it otherwise at this point.
I wanted to buy 10 shares as a ceremonious gesture. I probably wouldnt buy 1 share now.

Honestly, it seems like the Ford I came to know and admire (2000-2014) is on a drastic decline. About the only vehicle Im remotely interested from them is a Super Duty, personally.

Fiance (wife) wants a fun off road convertible. Naturally we penciled in Wrangler. We were holding out to see the new Bronco before we made a decision. Its been literally F O R E V E R since that last bit of news. We have no real date to look forward to more official pics, specs etc.

Unless they do something drastic like offer a great looking classic Bronco with a 5.0 Coyote/10speed auto offroad bad ass, Wrangler is getting the nod.
