found out when i went to the tuner to get it tuned earlier this weekend. It was setup with the factory crank pulley and the supercharger pulley that Kenne Bell said should get me 11 pounds of boost, on the dyno it was over 16lbs and still climbing when the tuner shut it down. I am still on the factory bottom end and it was producing too much boost even with the e85 to be even remotely safe so we changed the pulley and backed it off almost 5 lbs. Worst part was i wasn't even able to finish my dyno/tune session because we had a miss at high rpm which turned out to be a bad set of Ford Performance plug wires that didn't even have a 1,000 miles on them. I was able to get that corrected and now i will have to get the car back to the tuner for another try. The car sounds completely different after the intake mod, it has a lot more blower whine now. Can't wait to get it all worked out and retuned.

Any updates? This really woke my cobra up and I use some spring coils I ordered online to put around the heater hose keeps it from collapsing. My blower whines like crazy now. Kind of wish I had the 2.1 or 2.2 but 4-5 psi more boost from just allowing it to breath is amazing

Glad to see you reply Venom. updates are I got everything worked out and currently have it running at 12 lbs of boost on the factory motor with e85. hoping to get back on the dyno soon but I should be really close to 500 rwhp now. By the way is your motor forged and what fuel are you running? Any new updates with your car?

Yeah forged bottom end and ported heads 42lb injectors boost a pump and 240lph pump I have enough fuel to not even need the boost a pump I have it turned all the way down. 91 pump gas and 50/50 water methanol I spray one nozzle pre rotors and one directly under post rotors my temps are as cool or cooler than 03/04 with Intercooler. Car runs great finally got it to hook with full drag suspension and 275/60 Hoosier drag radials. Car is about 2950lb now

i am seriously considering using meth to help cool the charge, what system are you using? my only concern with meth is the reliability or lack thereof. Have you had any problems with your meth system?

I use a snow stage 2 maf system I got it 10-11 years ago and it’s perfectly reliable I run the dual nozzles with solenoid

Even on 14-15 psi without meth my car will still run fine wot it just has about 100 hp less because of the heat and spark retard it’s a whole other animal with 1000 ml spraying it cools the charge over 150 degrees

What all did you remove to get your car down to 2,900 lbs?

Tubular a arms member removed all ac components, removed all sound deadened on the car full drag wheels and aero space brakes. Single driver seat corbeau fx1 gosh pretty much all the works except replace my glass with lexan. Oh I also removed the whole stereo system Mach 460 system and amps along with the decks and all airbags and components
