You should call his dad up again... Tell him you understand the deal can't be made, but you don't appreciate him spewing his personal problems to you. Like talking about his dad behind his back and cussing him out because he wouldn't help him out with the deal.

Tell the dad that his son called him a impotent cheap jew bastard, and an asshole.
Yer evil, I like it.

Our DQ in my town closed down about 6 months ago

What’s weird... is that it was always packed

DQ’s aren’t that popular here and I love them! There’s only one in my city and it’s ALWAYS PACKED. Also why do they insist on flipping the blizzards upside down every time like I’m a 4 year old kid? What happens if they don’t turn them upside down?

Generally the stores in the northeast are the busiest in the country. I think 10 or 12 of the top 20 stores are in new england. We love our ice cream

Total of I believe around 5800 stores

Here's me and my dad about 4 years ago when we remodeled our main store.

At our 2 mall stores we don't do the flip or free promotion. But, at our main store we do participate.

The kids love it. It's that simple.

Technically if we don't flip, the customer gets a free blizzard their next visit. It's a pain to do. But our staff is pretty good with it

So there's no origin story for the flip? Like, the first person to flip the blizzard did so simply because "the kids will love this"? That doesn't make any sense

I don't disagree with you. But what about CSD? KC Wolverine? Planter? etc.

I'm not saying I think the OP was trolling, I just had an itching suspicion lol I grew more and more suspicious when he started giving the prospective buyer excuses.

I can press my corporate contact to see if he has the answer...

The secondary purpose is to show the quality and thickness of our product

This was what I was getting at. Thanks. I figured it had to do with showing that the blizzard wasn't all air (I imagine it would just fall out if there were pockets of air in the cup). This is probably the primary purpose, the kids loving it is the secondary one

Our ice cream to standard recipe is 35-40% air.
