Pro Boat makes a great product. I have a blackjack 26. Stick with electric as nitro is a pain to tune for weather and maintain.
Miss Geico with a Lipo will rip for sure. However I ran 2 3300’s 6cell non lipo and it was way under powered. You might need to run 2 batteries as well.
Yeah they said to run two 6S's in it.

I was doing that back in the day. Not cheap though, if you want quality stuff. Here's a pic from the boat.... That one was an HPR06 with 2x Lehner 1950-7 running 24V each... top speed around 80-90mph. The paint job was $500 just for that...

Must say I am surprised how many forum members have dumped money into an RC boat.

I've always wondered how you could drive/fly something as fast as some of these boats and planes are, now. They're so small, and they're moving so fast, I feel like it'd be almost impossible.

Boats are fairly easy, helicopters and planes are another story.

I always thought planes were easy to fly.

Landing is a different story though, so I stick to a cheapo Styrofoam one lol.
They can land themselves now... I really badly want one with head tracking, airspeed/altitude and attitude data in the headset.

For the cost of something like that it seems like you could get a 150 for the same price and fly yourself around at a little bit slower than the speed limit.
