Borderlands 3 comes out on September 13th. My wife wants us to take the day off to marathon through the game. Since I like being able to aim in video games, I use a PC. Problem is, Epic has a monopoly on the PC version, so my guess is their servers are going to be slammed on release day.

Anybody else excited? Just make sure you don't call that one character by the wrong pronoun or Gearbox will ban you.

Between B3 and now CP2077 getting all SJW on gamers, I'm sticking with Astral Chain and F13th where cursing takes place and women run around in next to nothing.

What did they do to CP2077? I thought they were getting flack for being overly real and weren't diving into the SJW issue?

I thought about that, but sometimes I can put that kind of crap aside and just play the game. Wolfenstein 2 (New Colossus) was getting tons of bad rep for SJW BS. I played it, saw a little, eh whatever, not enough to ruin it. Mass Effect 3 was the same way, I picked up on it but it didn't ruin the game (The ending did).

As long as B3 doesn't push the FL4K agenda too much throughout the game, sure I'll buy it. HE. SHE. Whatever it is.

No male/female options during character creation. Somehow it promotes inclusivity.

Not being able to choose between a male and female is not a big deal on the surface but it becomes nonsense considering you can customize so many other aspects of the toon.

So they are removing the male and female labels because of the claim that there isn't just male and female gender?

According to CDPR it would appear as such. The promotion of "inclusiveness" is exemplified by ignoring 99.9% of the normal people in the world for the fraction of a percentage of morons who don't know their ass from a hole in their head? Perhaps I'm nuts but I'd think you want to cater to the majority of people out there. The E3 footage didn't help me decide one way or another when it comes to playing the game but seeing how the developers caved has opened my eyes. One might say it is a petty complaint but I don't believe so.

Pretty excited for BL3! Too bad it's another 6 months till PC release :(

Steam? Yeah. That does suck. I'm nervous about trying to buy from Epic on release day for PC since their servers aren't going to be able to handle the demand.

Personally, I don't care what gender a character is. My favorite BL2 character to play as was Gaige, and there's only one choice there. I tried playing as Krieg for a while but BL2 was not a melee friendly game unless you farm and over-level everything. The Tiny Tina DLC was nightmarishly difficult with Krieg. Of course that changes when you get the bloodsplosion perk and stack like mad...

I'm hoping they left some exploitable mechanics in BL3...

Update: Installing it now. PC launch starts in 21 minutes.

Epic is a mess right now due to traffic.

My wife and I took the day off to play Shadowkeep, the Destiny 2 latest and greatest expansion hitting October 1st. Only game I can get into and we both play so bonus.
