I took mine and dropped it off with a paint shop to be repainted today......

It's been on my to do list for a long time. Had some chips in the hood and a few small dings I am having fixed before the full on paint. I am also having an extra set of front and rear bumper covers painted as well for back ups.

I did the interior over the winter. Now doing the outside.

I will post pics when she is done.

I may join the club of living dangerously with no front license plate when I get her back....... (WA requires it here) I just don't want the holes in her.....

Swapped in a new JLT apron for the cold air intake, basically had to take the entire thing apart.

Also, pulled my SW Lights HID retrofits with DRL, that I paid $950 for, due to poor fitment. They are going back to SW Lights to be re-sealed and install brackets to hold the headlight together better. Decided to just buy the cheap LMR black headlights with LED headlight bulbs from Headlight revolution including LED switchback side marker DRL(white)/Blinker (yellow) bulbs.

Fitment is perfect. Had to re-wire in the stock side marker wiring plugs, no big deal. Looks great. SW Lights retrofits will be going up for sale once back!

That’s too bad to hear. $950 should result in a perfect product considering now easy they are to do. Hope they take care of you! The Morimoto MH1 projos are such a better improvement over the generic projectors.

Started the Whipple swap today. Got the tank dropped and blower pulled. I'm still trying to figure out the fuel line routing. I wanted to get the crank pulley off so I can swap the inner belt as I have no idea when it was done last, but naturally I have every bit but the one I need. Before anyone asks the intercooler is currently sitting in a bucket of degreaser and will probably be there for a few days.

Looks amazing. With all the work I’d be tempted to swap in a new water pump, and tensioner for the inner belt while you’re already in there jmho.

I'm going to leave the water pump as when it comes to that stuff with my luck the part I replace it with will end up failing. I do have a new belt and bearings for the idlers coming. I need to order the tensioner still. I had to order the bit for the crank pulley too.

Back Cobra out of driveway for a cruise, but immediately parked her too. I’m leaking gas. Would have been nice since it was 109* yesterday and 71* this morning.

Backing out and seeing the huge puddle. I really need to redo the fuel system as it smells like fuel in the house if I park it in the garage for a long period of time. These lines are old before they started adding ethanol into fuel.

I get the smell but no leaks I can see. I upgraded the returnless line a few years back and suppose its time for the filler neck gasket. Its been on the list for a while lol.
