killer looking build. I never would have thought to do the valve covers that color in a million years, kinda makes me regret doing so much satin wrinkle black to match the shaker on my Mach

Thanks brother. I’m sure your setup looks awesome as well. Nothing “wrong” with black! I just tend to wander outside the norm whenever possible. Believe me I spend a TON of time looking at color chips when designing a car. An annoying amount of time actually

my mind's eye is blind lol. I need to get my Procharger polished/sealed and the charge piping cleaned up and powdercoated then I'll be happy. The charge pipes will be something close to the DSG of the car, plenty of satin/satin wrinkle black and the polished procharger

Last bit of polish for the underside. The exhaust starts with a polished turbo so it should end with some polished tailpipes. A little before and after

are you sealing all this polished stuff with anything? Thats my issue with the procharger clean it up a bit but it looks less than stellar again pretty quickly

I typically don’t. But then again, like the rest of my cars, this car will be so infrequently driven (while owned by me) that it won’t be exposed to many contaminates

Finally! Man that good is awesome. I’m sure a mad dash to finish but you should stop down to NMCA Norwalk on Saturday for some True Street fun.
Really I just need a pit bitch :)

What is the style and the cowl height on that hood? I like it!

Sent from my [mind] using the svtperformance.com mobile app
It’s a 3” double cowl .
Sooooooo.....leaving it full carbon?
Honestly, my mind was made up on cutting in the paint along the hood line to match the grill...which is the reason it’s sitting at the paint shop now. But then I saw it and now I’m going back and forth. It looks so nice. Not to mention the underside of the hood is black and I think it might look awkward when the mineral grey stops on the top surface. REALLY tough decision frankly. Would cost a fortune to smooth/prep and paint the underside

Surrounded by libetards.
I'm sure it will look good with the hood still, not my jam in it's raw form. I would have maybe painted it and left some of the carbon exposed.

No doubt....obviously your car, your move. It's still going to look good either way just dropping my 2 cents off in the gumball machine. You know I'm a fan brah.
No I appreciate it seriously! I might let the masses make the call if I can’t choose a side.

Full carbon. I just dont think with a cowl hood that stopping at the body line would look good. My only thoughts on it would be like the picture i posted of my old Racebronco hood. If i would have decided to paint it, it would have been mineral gray everywhere bit the louvers.
I just cant say i would like any of the carbon exposed on a cowl hood if you were to paint some of it....All or nada...
But, TEHO!
