in CA my cars are about $300-500 for the year. for EACH car.

Just looking at the housing market ....I can't believe it....seems like 250-300k can get a pretty nice house and 2500-3000+ sq feet. Only thing that worries me is snow LOL. I am not used to living in it.

We get some freak snow storms. But typically anything that falls here is off the roads within 24-36 hours. And even then that might be 4 times a year.

Kcmo is the worst at clearing roads. All the other cities seem to hit all their streets within 8-12 hours.

Snow isn't a big deal at all. Ice, that's a different story.

for sure man. got to get a plan together. right now my life seems like an unknown mess LOL.

Might be the perfect reason for a weekend get-a-way.

I can hook you up with a really nice hotel for a few hundred bucks and I'm sure we can work something out with a car to drive for a few days.

I love me some BBQ. I went to Ft Worth and had some amazing brisket.

The problem is usually it costs me money when I contact you

Hopefully you're talking about Joes

Money shmunny. Tax write off.

Joes is good, but Wabash in Excelsior is as good or better.

Anywhere in the midwest is going to be cheap and better.

The one thing for car guys, see if the area puts down SAND with the salt. If they do, you def want to winter beater.

Definitely a necessity...luckily, I can help him out on that front. :)

The sand does absolutely nothing for the roads, as only a few cars drive through it, it pushes it off to the side, but that is another issue.

Not going to argue there at all.
