He delivered nothing but a run on of nonsense. A stock 13/14 picking up 150-200 whp at peak with a head port alone? Going to also lose 150-200 ftlbs? Come on you can not honestly take him seriously lmao.

I already posted substance it was quickly disregarded because it did not fit the Coyote head being a better head than that of the GT heads.

Heads heavily ported on gt500, it would lose a lot of power at 2000rpm then ramp up higher numbers than before by 2750rpm (much like a voodoo mill needs to come on cam then jumps up 50-75whp/wtq at 3500). It’d probably be a loss of 50wtq down low and a gain of 100whp uptop repullied for 15psi again. I was way off and knew it while I typed that.

I saw a picture on your profile of some soldiers, thanks for yours and your family’s/squads sacrifices. I assumed you were a troll and was wrong. Half the stuff I threw out was semi sarcastic mouth foaming.

Personally I wouldn’t rev a 4.165” stroke past 6500. I know it can be done with stronger parts, and is done often enough, but it dramatically reduces the life of the pieces.

The max effort race stuff sold for thousands last’s a season or two and about 50-100 passes in those high dollar race setups. They aren’t scams but let’s be realistic, everything breaks in high heat/high stress environments.

2000 street mile of high rpm pulls here and there is harder on it than that is, and also there is no where near the same support and inspection going on with a street car. Race teams go full spectrum to mitigate or eliminate the chance of running dry, having Fowler plugs etc. The better maintained street cars still see 100-200 miles before plugs and oil gets a check at the next fill up.

I still really dig @CD07GT500’s build though. I’m guilty of chasing the less reliable modular spectrum myself with my big bore stroker and knew it at the time I did my build. I’m sure if he throws a rod or spins a bearing he’s halfway anticipated it or will deal with it and probably has the money to do something different at that time.

Speed costs money, once you’ve spent money on a few speed builds you go cold to the idea that it’s going to last all that long and do it more for the creativity. After that it’s hit and miss between creative or just go fast cheap for me personally.

@CD07GT500, that was a slick engine bay pic from that link

If you have the money to spend, you can get modular parts to really make a few metric tons of power, it’s just expensive and much more involved than doing it with coyote stuff.

Gt350’s have died at 550hp and lots of bad luck or bad maintenance but have also gone to 1200hp with solid builds and good maintenance. Nothing’s guaranteed, I’m just past the money pit phase and want to go fast for cheap again.

It’s fun to undersell the little old lasagna noodle around new groups I meet, then go canyon crawling with them. Guys in brand new and 2-5 year old cars don’t want to talk any shit because I’m not an ass in person, but then they get blown away when we go on a cruise. Gets a lot of compliments.

I’ll go with commentary like

“Ya it’s decent in the twisties but has legs on the straights, I’ll try and keep up”

Then carve a line through some tighter twisters they can’t even touch by 15-20mph (mainly driver/seat time/road time imo) and blast to 150+ there after on the straight sections.

For a 2003 lasagna noodle, I’m very happy with the thing. Suspension/chassis is maximum Motorsport front kmember with 425# springs, cobra r brakes, connectors, ftbr rear, 550# rear springs mm coils, Koni adjustables, nt05 fronts and toyo tq rears (really drivable drag radial).

I’ll probably try to get an agent 47 sla up front, and attempt a square 305 setup on a lighter wheel. Car’s about 3350#’s now but I wanna hit sub 3100. Stand alone, race seats, and so on will help a lot.

Lets hope it can handle more power and doesnt piss ATF into the clutch packs like the Fo/Fi Powershift....

I think there will be $4k and $10k trans kits to strengthen what not working well and assist what is.

Clutches are likely to be changed, as well as the shafts and gear sets.

If your going to go into debt, spend it on something to offset your other lifetime failures

Meh. I hoped for better out of you. .... And for the 4th time, it's "you're".

They say your intelligence level highly parallels one's earning potential in life. You oughta consider a grammar coach.... Tranny upgrades will be needed.

Actually he's correct in this case, you're is the concatenated "you are" and he was not sayin "you are other lifetime failures," but rather "your (ownership) other lifetime failures."

;-)

LMAO, actually, you're wrong. He was referring to the first "your" in his post, not the second one. You overlooked the first "your" which should be "you're" lol.

Wrong. He said “if your going into debt”.

That is plain and simply supposed to be you’re.
