At .600 it’s 350/300. This isn’t rocket science. Show me some coyote heads with stock valves and a port doing better.

So this entire time you made up an argument based on one stat....thats all Im getting out of this......Your argument is the modular was better than an LS because 2 years of supercars heads could outflow the LS platform?

Im I getting that right?

This thread is pretty entertaining. And even funnier that both parties involved are providing mis information. But to each there own opinion. Continue on. In before SD.

He talks out oh his ass so much it’s entertainment.

Ii can't say his posts aren't entertaining - they are. To each his own. That said, I enjoy a colorful read especially when it is thoughtfully laid out. He absolutely delivers in that regard.

From you I see one liners and pot shots. I'd like to see some substance behind your argument - we all would. Is that too much to ask of you?

Provide correct info then???
I fully admit mine may be incorrect as it was only what I could "find", and that was after some hop skip and jump searches

He delivered nothing but a run on of nonsense. A stock 13/14 picking up 150-200 whp at peak with a head port alone? Going to also lose 150-200 ftlbs? Come on you can not honestly take him seriously lmao.

I already posted substance it was quickly disregarded because it did not fit the Coyote head being a better head than that of the GT heads.

I can't seem to find where anyone except you were making that argument, could you quote it.

There were people saying the modular had a difficult time with LS until the coyote, probably referring the anemic 3V/2V

Revs. 5.4 and 5.8 have a 4.165” stroke which limits revs, and where power is made for safety. Trinity Gt500’s peak around 66-6700rpm and taper up a few hp by 6800, level off.

The 2020 5.2 has a 3.8” stroke iirc and 3.75” bore, and revs clean to 8000, or in this case 7500. Peak power is at 7400.

From there, the heads are much better on this gt500 being coyote architecture vs modular architecture.

The real problem with producing power from revs on the trinity is the stroke, and further it had 9.0/1 vs the 2020 9.5/1 compression.

Lastly, the computer on the gt500 was great, but the coyote based stuff is dual wideband and easier to safely make more power all the time.

I have a full tilt 5.3L 3.7x3.8” modular with heavily ported gt500 heads, stage 3 cams, twin 62’s, and an fr500c on my 03 cobra at 9.3/1, and NA it’s good for about 450-475whp. On 10.75psi it makes 813whp, 1208whp 30psi. Thing is if I did the exact same with the coyote stuff as a base, it would be much torquier at idle to 4000rpm (the weakest spot of the modular power production) and pick up 50-100whp up top due to better head flow.

Go to page 5

Found it.

There’s is a lot of reading.

So the heads on the 13/14 gt500 are the same head you are talking about with the 350/300?

Sent from my POFS iPhone in a rage cause this is the third try.
