Any 99-04s running Michelin Pilot Super Sports on their staggered BBS RKs? I’m thinking about either 265/35 or 275/35 in the front and 285/35 or 295/35 in the rear.

I’m lowered on H&R Race Springs and Koni Yellows and still have the stock IRS bolt. I would prefer to not have to roll my fenders but I also want to ensure I don’t rub. I’ll change the IRS bolt out for the rounded one from MM if I need to.

Thanks for any advice guys!

Thanks, I think I’ll order the rounded low profile IRS bolt (best from Maximum Motorsports?) then just to be on the safe side and 265/295 is what I was leaning towards. I just wanted to get some supporting feedback from the forums. I have 275 up front on my 17x9 track wheels and they rub at full turn so I want to avoid that for the street.

Happen to have any pics of that setup if you have a 99-04? Thanks!

I never really understood why everyone went crazy for these/ FR500s look better and so many other wheels

The only thing shared between RK's and FR's is the 5 split spoke design. Aside from that, the general shape of the wheel, dish, and spokes are entirely different. So much so that I showed a couple lay persons (non-car people) photos of the fox with FR's, and the fox with RK's.

The RK's won by 10 fold. If people who aren't car folk can see the difference, there's obviously a wide enough gap between them lol.

If anything, the Gen 1 Ford GT wheels are far closer to the RKs. IIused to like them on SN95s.
The FRs aren't even close though.
Do they still make the repro GT wheels for mustangs?

I’m looking for a set also if anyone has one. Any finish or condition, planning on having them powder coated anyway. Shoot me a text if so.
