I have been slowly working through tuning my car on a Haltech ECU. I would have to target an AFR of aroun 13.3 - 13.5 in order order to get it to idle smoothly. If i would bring is up to 14.0-14.5 it would start to pop hear and there with little half misfires.

The base tune had the zero demand idle timing set at 28 degrees. I backed it down to 18-20 degrees and now am able to lean out my AFR to 14.5 at idle without having that light popping/half misfires.

Just curious what people are running for timing at idle?

what are the specs on your setup?

4.6L, stock crank with oliver rods and MMR pistons. Should be 9.2-9.3:1 compression. Stock cams and valvetrain on unported head. unported lower intake with whipple 2.9 non-crusher inlet.

Return fuel system with Fore fuel rails and ID1300 injectors

Currently running pump gas but will be switching to E85 soon
