I got a 14 GT500 with a 2.5 upper ford racing TB JLT intake h pipe no cats
The car got boring for me looking to up the power without changing the super charger and converting to E85 that’s gonna happen winter time. Anyhow what’s the best mods to do was thinking about a lower pulley but drop some comments I got $2,000 I’m willing to spend to upgrade it

So stuck to pump 93 for now with plans to go E85 this winter?
Stock shortblock is good for 800rwhp and the stock blower will get you there on E85.
I’d do an XBA setup (Power by the hour) with a KB168 TB and either the JLT148 or PMAS DD149.
I’ll be taking my car to PMAS to do an updated DD149 so you may want to hold up there.
Basically you want big in and big out to maximize the stock blower.
You’ll probably do headers and matching midpipe eventually, but as you already have the catless pipe, focus on the intake.
Of course 4.10s and DRs are the right answer if you don’t already have.

I 2nd the suspension mods if you haven't done any yet.
I drove a 13/14 with all the typical engine bolt ons and it couldn't hook for shit. I'm talking burnouts at 55mph in 3rd lol.

Same car was getting gapped by a Jaguar that he should have been able to beat easily but couldn't cause he couldn't put the power to the ground.

Kooks headers and X pipe, worth every penny when you are moving that much air and heat.

Give us a call for a great price! 732-780-0770

If you can wait 3-4wks they (PMAS) will have used my car to develop a ‘cleaner’ DD149 as they are taking over production from 1320junkie performance from what I can tell.
That said, if you want an original unused DD149 now I have one I never used and would sell cheaper than you can buy new.
I’d tell you to do a lower pulley but you’ll be on the limit of pump gas boost. Headers will help lower boost and let you get more on pump 93, plus maximize E85 more.

Seriously consider a watts link. Changes the car completely. It hooks, it’s stable and confidence inspiring.

I can confirm this, the Watts link is kinda expensive, but it's a night and day difference.

You can drop down from 2.5 to 2.4 upper pulley. That's one lb of boost . OR...stay with the 2.5 upper and add a 10% crank pulley. That's 2 lbs of boost or 30-40rwhp. No need to be shy about 4.10 rear gears with the taller MT DR's. If you're running those 305's you actually have around 360 rear gear. Bump up to 4.10's and you're around 3.90's. BMR LCA's is all you need on the '14. All three mods might slightly exceed your $2,000 budget by $500. But for those somewhat modest investments your car will be on another level.

E85 will give you the biggest power boost after you deal with breathing. 1320 junkie can add quite a few hp with a port job.

You'll need a clutch eventually. The torsen doesn't last too long if you go to the strip, true trac is cheapest quality replacement. When you launch at the strip with an 8.8 axle, it'll make the gears noisy, no way to stop it.

J2 fabrication has a good system if you need to cool the air charge back down.
