What guard on suicide watch covering an extremely high profile individual is just going to leave him unattended because someone says it's for maintenance reasons. Is the maintenance guy going to pull double duty and take over suicide watch for their inmates too? I call bs on that as it sounds entirely illogical.

When your supervisor or replacement shows up 3 hours early saying you are relieved, most would follow orders.

The two names the came out yesterday:
Virginia Roberts Giuffre, filed against Epstein and his associate, Ghislane Maxwell in 2015," Fox News reported.

Fox News noted that two of the men listed were "prominent Democratic politicians — former Sen. George Mitchell and ex-New Mexico governor and Clinton cabinet official Bill Richardson."

On a situation like this, it would have to be someone with some pull. When we did suicide watch you had a descenated relief and everything had to be documented and signed by the highest ranking supervisor on shift.

You need to also remember that a CO makes like $15/hr and only cares about keeping their job.

Dude i was a CO for Texas for 13yrs I made more than 15$ a hour and yes all i cared about was my job and making sure the thieves stayed locked up where they belonged

Edit: we also were held responsible by the state if some shit like that happened. Facing time for negligence

Prison guards aren't idiots. I had Marines who were idiots and would probably do something that stupid, but as a squad leader I knew that and I or a TL or another reliable Marine was always there to make sure things were straight and taken care of. The same attitudes apply in prisons I guarantee. The COs know who their idiots are and in a scenario like this you do t use your idiots unless they are supervised by more competent guards. You would use your A team.

I know very little about the prison system but I know a lot of prior military end up there and given the environment I think it is safe to assume that MOs are relatively similar.

Worked with plenty of fmr military and plenty of idiots. The idiots dont last and on high profile only the top guys are every allowed around for obvious reasons. I trained new boots and if they were trash i ran them off personally.

The last thing you want is your unit to be on the news over some high profile death by suicide

Are you suggesting a $1+ million off shore account for each CO is out of the question?

I am sure the guards helped him and any security footage will be conveniently corrupted, too grainy/low resolution or just missing.

How convenient

Good question, I don’t have an answer but it’s pretty FUBAR we don’t have a credible agency to lead the investigation.

Was thinking the same thing. Who threw the pedo some shoelaces? Probably never know. I would bet my life that the video recorder wasn’t “on” or “malfunctioned”.

Reading more there seems to be confusion on whether he was on suicide watch or not.

Sent from my iPhone using the svtperformance.com mobile app

The “investigation” will not be transparent or find anything.

Imagine that! I wonder how many guys it took to hold him down while he tied the sheet around his neck?
How many does this make now for the Clinton hit list? It's getting up there...
