Took the words right out of my mouth. LOL.

I smell a lawsuit coming! The worker who walked away was in the wrong, and IMO his inaction ultimately caused the resulting damage because the hood could have been opened sooner and any fire extinguished before any major fire damage. The worker who walked away and refused to put the fire out should be fired, on the spot.

Not to mention the work who took the extinguishers and walked off...

Yea, I remember that fat cuck on YouTube with his Hellcat Challenger on video burning after FCA replaced his engine. He was arrested too I think..... yup.

It’s no secret that FCA cars are catching on fire. I’ve seen about 3 in my town, 2 were challengers actually.

Milan is my local track. Been going there since 2001. Not surprised the workers acted like that. Milan is a hick town and Milan Drag way is staffed with hicks.

That was odd.. Why didn't he just shut the car off after the dude told him 3 times to do it? Obviously it was on fire, he was spraying it with the extinguisher..

I think the track worker and driver are idiots. The driver should have immediately popped the hood and gotten out as soon as he realized there was trouble. If the car wasn’t turning off he could have said that instead of sitting in there with the windows rolled up.
That track employee..... well that one is pretty evident

The conversation is that the trans went or a line broke and it couldn't be shifted into park thus it couldn't be shut off. Both sides were DB but the track officials are responsible for track safety and that includes the people and cars. The owner also should of opened the hood and not walk away

Oh bro, that’s a LAWSUIT if I have ever seen one. What a shit show of a staff. Sucks for the track owner, as he will now be responsible for the car.

I've seen some other videos from not too long ago from one of their no et events or something, where fights broke out between people at the event and the owner of Milan, along with security and other employees. I've heard their management is something else.

Gotta disagree with most people in here.

The driver was a total douche. His car is on fire and he's acting nonchalant about it. Taking off his helmet, rolling down his window and then yelling at the track workers.

He's told to turn it off and pop the hood. Yes, if it's in D, it won't shut down, but he didn't try and force it into neutral or hold the power button. Also stupid move having a modified Demon and no cut off.

Instead, he gets out tells the official to "stop being an asshole and chill the **** out".

He then gets in the guys face like he's about to punch him. Total roid rage.

As far as "lawsuit". I'm sure Kaneda's Boyfriend there will try and sue. I'm also sure he'll fail. They did try to put the fire out and he basically refused help. They did maintain safety since no one was hurt or in danger. You sign waivers to race indemnifying the track of liability for your shit breaking. His shit broke, he didn't want help. Tough Luck.

As for the fire, its been suggested its because of the torque convertor. Basically he didn't roll out of the burnout and the sudden shock likely busted something, hot fluid everywhere and it lit up.
