Haven’t said much about the trans to this point so I’ll update that as well. Contrary to going with the typical 6 speed I opted for something a bit different/out of the box. Saleens came with tr3650’s but obviously they are weak in stock form. Pro force transmissions fixed that. This one is built to the same horsepower/torque ratings as a magnum 6060. Some may argue that the 6 speed is the only way but that’s silly. This will cruise in 5th at the same RPM.
This is the Pro-Force Pro-C with REM polishing for gears 1-4 as well as the counter gear.
bronze fork pads
Gorilla 1-2 shift fork
26 spline input shaft
1-2 fork cryogen treated to be stiffer
0.62 ratio fifth gear

I finished the trans case in matte black to match all the suspension and Hotside/exhaust that will be under the car. I want the entire undercarriage to be stealth and clean.

Also paired it with a prothane mount and fidanza lightened steel flywheel

99 Tails ftw. Either of those pictured will work but the tinted works better with your colors imho.
Legitimately speaking I’m over $35k in parts into this build, I just have to draw the line somewhere. $600 for tail lights is where I drew it. I love ambers as much as the next guy buy I felt I could still make an impactful and subtle addition to the rear of the car without spending that type of coin. I really like the light smoked look

For anyone wanting to assemble their own three piece wheels I’ll give you a couple quick tips as I seal mine up so I can get the tires mounted.
1) start by running a bead of silicon around each bolt hole
2) while holding the 8mm 12 point bolt heads, tighten 1/2” nuts from the back in a star pattern across the entire wheel
3) once all the bolts are tight run a thick bead of silicon around the outside edge of the wheel where the barrels and lips meet
4) wait 2-3 days to let the silicon fully cure/shrink before mounting a tire

Great trans choice. I have actually researched this trans for both my ‘93 Cobra build and the future Cobra roadster build for my wife.
People don’t recognize the potential of the 3650 gear set. I know Bob Hanson likes it as well and it will hold big power when built.
I hope it works well for you buddy!

Last texts are of that sweet notch, did I miss something else?
I couldn’t respond to texts of a twin turbo reef blue notch due to blinding jealousy :)
