LOL I think a lot of you should be go to a Vette forum with all the Ford sucks talk. First, the GT500 getting an ADM isn't Ford's fault. It's dealers. Just like the Demon has an ADM. Second, the GT500 will be produced in limited amounts versus the base Vette. IMO you need to compare the price of a higher trim, probably less quantity Vette then the very base model. A regular Mustang GT doesn't pull an ADM.
No one is saying Ford sucks. They are making comparisons between two great cars.

The reality is, the Camaro is Chevy's pony car. The Corvette should be a better car than the Mustang. What has brought the Corvette to the center of the table right now is the price it offers with all of the new technology, and the included horsepower and torque.

I already made my decision. I already ordered one just like this. Base, Iconic Silver, Painted roof, stripes, and tech package. NO ADM..

goddman twins. im telling ya, that combo will be the most seen one. if you tell me exposed CF interior and recaro's, we may as well just go halfs on a car and swap every other weekend

I just want to see these 2 out in Mexico for some Juan, Two, Three!!!!

oh it will. as soon as it arrives. me and the crowds are getting together. i dont expect to win, but we need a baseline

I could care less what the Vette does on the track against the GT500. I want to see what it does against the Ford GT. That should be Corvette's real competitor in this lineup.

I am already looking forward to next year's 24 Hours of LeMans.

So, your comparing a $60,000 car to a $500,000 unobtainable car?

LOL! Yeah, I don't know. In all of the polls of what colors people are ordering, Iconic Silver only has a few takers. This will be my fourth silver car, so I have always been a fan. I was finally able to see Iconic silver in person on a 2020 Explorer. It looks great!!

I like them both, but in all honesty, I like the new GT500 more.

Yes I am. I have always considered the GT40 / GT, Viper, and Corvette to be on an equal playing field. The price is irrelevant in regard to overall performance.

The GT is unobtainable because Ford wants to have something that equates to a hypercar. That is the choice of Ford. On the same track with an equally prepped V8, mid engine Corvette, I believe we will see the Vette come out on top. I don't see the GT on the 24 Hours of Lemans podium next year.

GTLM hardly matters as its all about BOP and team efforts, not much to do with the car itself. And comparing the street car is a waste of breathe as clearly nobody is interested in instrument testing the GT. So.... Corvette vs anything else

I get it, the GT is Ford's pedestal car that is nothing more than a collector's item. I would love to see it become much more than that.

Here is a little something for your viewing pleasure on the C8.R testing in Sebring.

Me too, id LOVE to see ford jump on the affordable mid engine game but seems very highly unlikely. The GT is just a poster car for me. Ill be living the C8 in a couple years and I cant wait
