We have the extractor version of that same little unit. It's not exactly quiet.

Best thing for dogs is one of those silicone finger brushes. You bring them outside, rough up their fur with the brush, peel off this waffle of hair, and the dog is shed-free. The hair-waffles can be re-used to fill your neighbor's mailbox when their stinkin' cat keeps crapping in your herb garden.

I had a cat once that wouldn’t let me brush him at all for loose fur, with one of those hand held wire brushes.

BUT he would let me vacuum him with the brush attachment, seriously.

I would disconnect the power floor attachment, put on the brush, and he would sit still and let me vacuum his fur.

Mention the word bath and all 4 dogs run and hide not to be seen for the day. Say a word that sounds like bath...make your lips form to say Ba....POOF their gone.

My Dane/Lab mix loves the water. When we take him swimming it's tough to get him to come out of the water. Even say the word "bath" at home and he runs and hides. Weirdo.

Ellie will open our shower door to come in and get a bath, until I kick on the rain shower head, she doesn’t like that for some reason.

my husky needs this. she's got enough fur to clothe Africa

Mine too man, when I brush her outside it looks like it snowed in my yard. I even had a client ask me today if I had dogs because I had fur on my shirt. I was sure I lint rolled it all off this morning but its like a magnet!
