It's not a concept either. 130 units will be built in 2020 for approximately $1.7mil each. Did I mention it is gorgeous looking? It's also Lotus light for an electric vehicle weighing in at 3700lbs.

I just love that Lotus came back with something like this and not just another typical sports car they are producing. They are essentially trying to take the lead in the hypercar race and set the standard with something that is almost entirely out of their realm. I hope it turns out as good as it sounds.

I think it's unfortunate that this is the future, albeit pretty well off future, of the automotive world. Having had the chance to test drive a newer Tesla (P90D), they're fun and fast off the line, but leave a lot to be desired everywhere else. Not knocking quality either. It seemed fine enough and the one I was driving had 35K miles or so.
