Driving by a local diesel truck shop awhile back and happed to stumble upon this just sitting in their driveway. Stopped to ask for any info or if it was for sale but got a “no.” Tennessee plates were last registered in ‘04-‘05 I believe. Drove by recently and the car had the entire front half removed. Maybe they’re saving this snake.

That is the saddest thing I’ve seen in recent memory. If this was a video of the car with that Sarah McLaughlin song playing in the background I would get teary eyed, and then donate to some fund to save it

This. I never understood that. If you don’t have the money at least knew it inside if you won’t sell.

It’s possible they are going back through the car. It had been moved last time I drove past and it had been torn down. Possibly prepping it for paint?

Hopefully they're saving it.

Hard to believe those cars can now be called "barn finds". Car from my era. Shows how old I'm getting. lol

I've seen various cars rotting in fields/driveways/under a carport with "not for sale" signs, been there as long as I can remember

I tried buying two projects in high school first a 66 coupe in a garage with boxes all over it. Not for sale, then a 73 convertible sitting outside. Looking back at it now I’m happy the 73 owner said no.

Ran across a similar "barn find" cobra. Got excited thinking I could buy it...

Guy wanted $18K for it and it needed body work, wasn't stock, and had a dirty torn up interior. I passed.

Last I saw it though, it was getting restored. Body work was done.
