Good deal. I am contemplating the same with my car and maybe sound system upgrade at same time.

That’s where I differ from you and most other people. I almost never listen to the stereo in these cars. I don’t like being distracted from the sounds of turbo and exhaust. I’ll leave a sound upgrade to the next owner lol

Are you going to replace the heater core and evaporator?

everything's still there and I'll be leaving it as far as the behind the dash components, but I'll be keeping them deleted in the bay since one of my main goals is to maximize space/cleanliness for show purposes. With that said everything will stay with the car

Exciting day....got a good bit of my Powdercoated parts back. Went outside the box with my color choices but I think it’s going set this car off

I’ll use the barrels of the Forgelines to show off the main color I went with. The majority of the engine bay was done in the same finish. It’s a matte bronze metallic that I really felt would compliment the subtle darker hues of the mineral grey paint. IMO blacks or silvers are a no go with this color but that’s just me. Here’s a look at the color in full sun, full shade and indoors. I absolutely love how it turned out. Took me forever to decide on this color

Ran up to the paint shop to check progress and held one of the cold side pipes against the mineral grey engine bay. I’m in love with the contrast. I’m sure it will have it’s fair share of people who dislike it when it’s all together but I don’t see myself being one of them. You can almost see a mineral grey hue in the pipe
