Had a "big" turbo setup on my old focus st that I bought used so a little under $3k with tuning and supporting mods. Transferred that over to my fusion se awd and spent about a grand on other bits to make that run properly. So not too much. I really want to put a 426 hellephant in the grand cherokee though. Wish I was a baller!

I would say a solid 10k on my 98 cobra I had on here originally. Probably about 12-13k on my 93 coupe I sold last year.

Around $25k USD on my 04 Cobra. I have shelves full of used parts I need to get rid of though which will bring the net total down a bit...lol!

When I built my last mustang which was about 10 years ago, I was into it for 34k.

I build my last R6 and was into that for 7-8k in parts alone not counting all the gear and track day costs.

I want a fun car again but it pains me to spend senseless money on cars these days specially having a family lol.

I think I had 25 - 27 in the 11.
Still adding up the 14, 4K+ in wheels that aren't here yet, the $ 1600 in tires showed up 10 days ago..

Over 35k in just parts on my 2v, not including the parts I bought the first time that were not exactly what I wanted( I still have a left over set of heads and an hpp twin turbo hot side)

The expression "70K Bitches" comes to mind. I stopped adding my receipts up.

Wish i had the disposable income you ballers have.

Ive only got $5500 or so into my 2018 Mustang.

My track incident with a GTR cost $5k out of pocket to fix. I spent nearly $2k on a TVS setup I no longer have. $4k on suspension, exhaust, throttle body, cooling and tuning mods.

Currently have $3k in parts in my closet for my engine build, and thats not including another $2k needed for Diamond Mod2K pistons and a few more timing system components.

Planning to spend about $4k on a Whipple 4.0L and another $4k on a return fuel system.

..... **** me running Ive got an addiction...

This sounds like a trap. Are you someones wife, posing as a member? This is how grown men disappear without a trace....

I’m going with a different approach.

I’ll show my wife how ludicrous some of these numbers are and she’ll immediately understand how fortunate she is that I’m not into big money like some of you.

Then I’ll ask for “permission” to spend on wheels/springs/shifter.

Rookie.

Post your number, already including the wheels/springs/shifter, then let your wife look at this thread (and your number). That approval will be your approval.

You guys are making parts distributors smile. Maybe I should shut down my company and start selling performance parts again.

I'm actually being serious.

Not a business venture I would envy right now. Nobody cares about the customer service until they actually need it, just who has the lowest price and quickest turnaround depending on the circumstances.

No thanks.
