I don’t care what kind of box it is or the name brand tools, I’m just curious to see how everyone sets theirs up. I go with cheaper boxes and more expensive tools myself

You have to take out a 2nd mortgage for that box and tools :D Nice!
They may let me, since my Snappy bill is "0"!
Been at it for 21 years, I don't buy anything I can't pay for up front now. Except for that box. 0% intrest for six months a few years ago so I used their money for a change. Then paid that bitch off because Snap On credit is some dam high rent!

I hear that, also take advantage of 0% interest rates and make damn sure to pay the balance off before the promotional terms end. That interest is ****ing killer and its usually applied against the initial amount, not the balance owed.

I love snap-on, matco, and other nice boxes but I’d rather buy something from Home Depot or Lowe’s and spend my money on quality tools. But that’s just me.

I noticed at Lowe’s that the Craftsman toolboxes have gotten nicer. Soft close drawers, electrical/usb plugs and heavier weight steel being used all over. Feel and look better made. Still, love to have a Snap-On tool box.

I do have an American Workbench. Made in Charleston, SC. Really nice but a workbench not a toolbox.

Agreed. At the end of the day, all they do is hold your tools. Only reason I got my SnapOn boxes was that I listed a bunch of firearms for sale, nobody ever seems to have cash, so I traded for nice toolboxes plus cash. They hold value decently, so it made sense. Plus, then I had room to actually organize my tools instead of having them piled on top of each other. There is only one drawer in that picture that doesn't have tools in it. Bought a triple-decker Craftsman box off Craigslist in 2016, loaded with tools. Dude probably stole it, who knows. Cleaned the tools, recoated a few, and now I have more socket sets than I'll ever know what to do with.

Tool cart is mine, the man owns the hardware. Tools are mine. Had a Snap-on KRA 5213 series box years ago, but Ive been at shops that have built in boxes since 2012. Just took up space and all my tools are at work, so I sold it.
