Injectors + BAP + E85 + serious boost; why is it considered a no-no by so many people?

13/14 GT500 pumps and GT350 pumps are essentially the same thing. That's what the Sai li kit is.

Zach your motors gonna blow any day now! I know it!

It's the BAP man, the BAP.

Id just listen to who you're paying to. I paid my guy and he said no E85 without fuel system. I waited and found a great deal, Im happy. If your guy said you're ok then continue doing your thing. Id love to see the track numbers but Id settle for mexico vids of Coyotes laying the smack down.

And that's exactly what I do. I definitely don't listen to Facebook/internet heroes, just the people "building" and tuning the car.

My car has seen a ton of Mexico, unfortunately against cars not worthy. And I mean that by there's not many 600+ HP cars in the immediate area (as @boduke0220 can confirm). Those that are around, aren't daily drivers/only fair weather/drive a couple days a month, so they're hard to find and get a hold of.

There is one black 3V convertible that's been picking on me but has yet to win...

I need to pony up the money, get the driveline and suspension ready for the track and post a number.

After seeing the recent write up in MM&FF about using a GT350 fuel pump assembly for S550 and S197 cars and it supporting 1000 hp for $940, I don't know why anyone would mess with a BAP anymore.

I used a return system setup, at the recommendation of AED, that uses the GT350 pumps and hat modified to work in a return system. It’s not good for 1000hp on E85. It’s good for about 750 on E85. I’m guessing the 1,000hp is referring to gasoline or race gas. I added a JMS GT350 BAP to my setup and at 850rwhp I have all the fuel i’ll ever need. And the JMS doesn’t run the pumps at higher voltage until you floor it...

Thanks for clarifying. Always good to get even more details as to what it will support. Nothing better than learning from someone else that has already "been there."

Glad to share. I spent 2 months trying to figure out why my fuel system wasn’t “working correctly” until I just bit the bullet and bought the JMS BAP. Installed that and all my problems went away...
