Well I’ve never seen a PP after 5-6 miles. That looks like it’s had more heat in it than mine after 14k at @700whp.

So first question, why did it come back apart?

Had to rebuild motor because water got in the cylinder, heating issue.. car was struggling to stay on....so i thing the mechanic just dumped the pedal to see it repond. Once we realised it had water we dropped the tranny and pulled the motor, then we saw damage

Sounds odd.

What clutch is it and what is the setup?

Well the “spring” built into the PP can’t be beat.

I’ve seen clutches slipping like a mofo on F250s from bad drivers and they were salvaged.

I’m guessing the disc looks solid.

I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Question is what is the future plans.

WTH.

Ok. Not sure what happened but I’d get a new clutch.

Good luck buying just a disc anyways. Probably cost you 75% of a new clutch

Looks like a lot of damage for such little usage. Get it ground - not machined. If you tried to machine it the tool would chatter over the heat checks and you’d get a poor job. Often times the diaphragm will lose tension when the clutch has been badly overheated but this (at least in the pics) doesn’t look that bad. Still you are taking a chance...
If you don’t get it machined you will get chatter for sure. I would likely replace the disc though...
