I pulled my tranny to install a new clutch fork and throw out bearing on my 03 Cobra and after getting everything all back together , refilling the fluid from the top with 3 quarts of synchromesh, i go to drive it and now it won’t go smoothly into all the gears , mostly 3rd , 5th , and reverse . I gotta force the hell out of it to get into gears at times especially all the gears to the right like 3rd , 4th , 5th , 6th and especially reverse . What the hell is going on here !? Thanks

The clutch needs to be adjusted. If you have a stock quadrant put your toe under the pedal and lift. Then push down. It might take a couple times.

If you have a firewall adjuster tighten up the cable a little.

And the T-56 takes 4.1 quarts of fluid.

Thank you for the response buddy .
I did the adjustment thing where you pick up on the peddle, that’s all good . I wonder if it’s because i only have 3 quarts in it ?
