Adwalls. They're everywhere.
Is that an article, or a cleverly disguised ad?
Are you hitting the right download button?
20 radio stations in the area and they're all playing ads at the same time?
Download a "free" app? Ha.
Streaming music? Not for long.

What ad drives you the most insane? Here's my top 3:

#3: Any snack food commercial involving exaggerated munch, crunch, and slurp sounds.

#2: Ambulance chaser ads with annoying slogans. "Got hurt in a wreck? Did the other person actually have insurance? Call all 6's, and we'll sue the bejeesus out of 'em and make insurance rates skyrocket!"

#1: Liberty Mutual 6-second ads. None of them make any sense, and I will never switch to them simply because they've peppered the ads on everything.

...and one so wretched, so vile, it cannot even be put on a list. JAY... GILSTRAP. There's a 50% chance that if you hear an ad on the radio, it's a Jay Gilstrap ad. There was even a local Facebook event called "Pray the hurricanes wipe out Jay Gilstrap and his entire lineage" back last Fall.

Our local news in the evening is filled with competing car dealer commercials. During the political seasons, it is nothing but political ads. I regularly mention to my wife how I miss the political ads while waiting for 4 minutes of car commercials. Conversely, I mention how I miss the car commercials during political season.

Pretty much any drug (pharmaceutical) commercial. The side effects are worse than the condition it's supposed to treat.

Of course, there's always another "pill" for the side effects. "Managed healthcare" is a big problem. It seems that more attention is spent on addressing symptoms and not causes.

I do not take any medications, so, I may not know what I'm talking about. :)

I'm tired of seeing the gay agenda pushed in advertising. Being gay has nothing to do with a lot of of the advertised services or merchandise. Are these people trying to market to a tiny segment of the population?

I get it, homosexuality is an accepted lifestyle. Move on people, we don't care to see men holding hands, kissing, etc. The same goes for lesbians.

I hate all car insurance adds!!!! The advertisers must think we're stupid....talking lizard with English accent for "Goverement Employees Insurance Co" (GEICO). Liberty mutual with a friggin emu...Any commericial that involves a really cool song of the sixtys...then plays it a thousand times a day...

It time for the FCC to reel in the number of commercials..After all FCC has approved of their license..

The "home title lock" scam ads. All about how someone uses the title of your home to get mortgages, sucking the equity out of your home and sticking you with the payments unless you buy their service.

No, anyone who gives a mortgage with so little due diligence that they don't know who the owner is will be stuck. You don't owe anything

The new orange coke ad on the radio. Sounds like a bird screeching to me.

You haven't heard the Hawk Law ads around here. The ambulance chasers went nuts recently (I'm not exaggerating when I say I nearly get in at least 1 accident every time I leave the house, not by any fault of my own). One is "Hawk Law" and the clients do a "hawk screech." One in particular does it over and over like some sort of urban mating call. It's ridiculous.

Ah, I also forgot:
-Radio/music ads that are of a completely different genre than what you listen to / enjoy. If I'm listening to a metal station (ha, if), I DO NOT want to hear the damn rap caviar station ads. Or, blasting something good and suddenly, at max volume, some Kashi-loaded limp-wristed ukulele music starts playing because it's a commercial for some health food. First off, ukuleles aren't instruments. They're props for fat Hawaiin guys and kindling. That's it. Secondly, I don't want to hear them.

I agree with @CV355 : I don't like to hear people chewing and gulping when they eat and drink, why the heck would I want to hear it on my TV?!?!??!?!?!!?! Kit-Kat, Twix, and potato chip commercials do this constantly and I hate it!

Paul Powell, attorney here in Vegas...cannot stand his commercials.

Anything with an agenda.

Oh, and I thought there was a setting on TVs to stop commercials from having a volume louder than the broadcast/show...mine must be broken because my commercials are about 10X louder than the actual show I am watching!

Remember the kit kat commercial where each note in the jingle was a different crunch sound?

OH, and the Hilton commercials with that mouse-looking cup-song girl. Stop it Spotify. You won't extort money from me, I have a mute button!

I'm giving you a ukulele the next time I head up your way.
