What's up guys, I am Thinking about saving this car. I have been missing my Bullitt and so been low key watching for a cheap 2v to come along for a project for awhile.. Was thinking about picking this pos up as it is about as cheap as I have ever found, it's also really ugly so makes for a great blank slate! Supposedly It has a Blown Engine and it's bone stock, but is pretty straight.

Wondering what you guys would do with it ?. I'm looking for suggestions for about a 5k budget to get it running and driving, hopefully make it as quick possible for the $. Only thing I know for sure I would want to do is put a paint job on it.. back yard style to the best of my ability lol.. trying to decide on Comp Orange, DSG or maybe Sonic Blue..

Would you go for it for $850 bucks ? Thanks for any advice !

damn I miss my 00 GT BAD. Got it in high school and spent every dime I had to build it. Full mods, a Vortech, custom IC, 14 pounds on the stock block. It was decently fast !

Hell yeah haha, how well did the motor hold up ? I'd love to do something like that if I could find a decent used setup..

I'm a Viper lover and Viper nerd. I've driven a few, and tracked one. Love those cars, especially the early ones.

Same here. It was "the car that got me into cars", and was one of my goals. It's not the king of the hill it once was, but it always puts a smile on my face when I drive it.

I sat in my first Viper is 1994. A few years later I ran one around Road Atlanta. My dream car is an early Viper. Great machines.

I also have a soft spot for the SRT10.

I have always been a fan of the Mustang. Long story short, I owned a 64.5 and hate that it's gone.
