GT500 pump

Currently running the bosch pump that came with the vmp kit and the harness supplied with that kit.

Can someone who has actually done this upgrade to the GT500 pump please confirm if a new harness is needed?

I installed the GT500 pump upgrade to a similar Roush kit with Bosch pump and just spliced the pigtail for the new pump onto my harness. A little solder & shrink tubing and with the split wire harness tubing it's a stock looking and correct length harness for my new pump location.

Thanks. 90 degrees today and was seeing 50 over ambient while idling stuck in traffic after the car was fully warmed up. At cruise 10 degrees less give or take.

Hoping the upgrade and some fresh water/coolant mix will help knock that down a few degrees.
